Absolutely terrible experience. My initial appointment was for a clogged kitchen sink drain—but by the time the technician arrived, the drain had already cleared on its own. Instead of simply charging the $89 service fee for essentially doing nothing, they signed me up for their Apollo Care program. Not long after, the drain problems came back. A technician claimed the issue was the piping under the sink being at the wrong angle. They replaced the pipes, but the problem persisted. When their manager came out, he told me the pipes should never have been replaced because that wasn’t the issue. He offered to credit what I spent toward water jetting but couldn’t guarantee it would fix anything—and then quoted me $1,000 after a $300 discount. After looking up average water‑jetting prices ($350–$800), there was no way I was trusting them with that job. I called Curry and Son instead. They diagnosed the actual problem in a single visit and used a tool called a Picote to clear the line. Online pricing for that service ranges from about $450–$1,000—they charged me $650, and we haven’t had a single issue since. I canceled my Apollo Care plan, and no one even bothered to ask why. Then today, I received a mailer asking me to recommend them to a friend and offering a discount on more service. Beware of using this company! Their pricing is inflated, their recommendations were wrong, and they tried to upsell me on work they never should’ve done in the first place.

From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible. Our furnace went out Monday morning, called Apollo, they came out same day and by 130p on Tuesday, the heat was restored in my house. Everyone from the tech that came out to the trouble call, all the way the install was very friendly and extremely professional. The complete honesty and transparency with diagnosis of the issue they were call for to making a selection on a new furnace speaks volumes for the company and employees. At no point were we ever pressured to make decisions that we didn’t feel comfortable with. I can say with confidence that Apollo Home has gained a lifetime customer.

I had a tuneup on my furnace last year- Feb. 2025. Days later, my system would turn on and off sporadically. I called the company and they sent someone Out again to diagnose (Which they charged me again to come out) The technician just adjusted the thermostat and said there was nothing wrong. In the summer, I did not have this problem but when we had a harsh winter, it started doing it again so I called another company and they came out to diagnose. They said that there is a Gas pressure valve that was turned up a and coming out at 160 something degrees which should be around 130 Degrees which caused my system to overheat and turned off and on by itself. What I did not like about Apollo was that they did not fix the problem, which was a knob that was apparently not place to regulated the gas pressure. And I did not want them to come out again because they would charge me again. This problem started when Apollo did maintenance on my system because before that I did not have this problem. I am now using another company and I am very satisfied. The new technician said it was either malice or ignorance for why they left it with not knob.

I used Apollo Home in Cincinnati for a water heater repair. The technician did a good job, and the repair itself was completed properly. However, I was very disappointed with the pricing of the materials. The cost charged for parts was nearly double the market price, which feels unreasonable and unfair. While the service quality was acceptable, the excessive markup on materials significantly outweighs the positive experience. Because of this, I would not recommend purchasing any products or materials from Apollo Home. Customers should be very cautious about pricing and consider sourcing parts independently if possible. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Update on 2/19/2026: I am responding to the owner's comments as they contain several inaccuracies. At no point did I complain about the service; my sole concern was the excessive cost of the water heater, which remains significantly higher than market rates even after the mentioned discount. Contrary to the owner’s claim, no meaningful resolution or assistance was provided. I am disappointed that the response mischaracterizes my feedback rather than addressing the pricing issue.

Firstly i have to start by apologizing because our house was an absolute NIGHTMARE for apollos plumbers , 1st night Rob came out and took care of us , but poor guy has luck like mine. Everytime hed fix one thing another fitting would fail. Then another then another.. he was here until about 9pm and he handled all the emergencies like a champ ! Very calm and collected all his work was above and beyond! Rob if you see this your the man! Kenya came out the second and third day , the secind day we all realized this was going to have to be a complete water line rebuild... oh boy right ? So second day there wasnt enough time to get done what needed done so kenya came back out on sunday the 3rd trip for apollo ...(my house is old and apparently was built by hillbillies who didnt have a clue i dont fault the plumbers one single bit) sunday morning kenya showed up bright eyed bushied tailed ready to tackle this demon of a project , and let me tell you she wasted 0 time she got right to it , moved the vanity , started cuttin pipe, got all the old stuff out with a quickness! then she made one quick trip to home depot and back at it she went ! again very calm cool and collected! She got the job done , we turned the main back on and presto, no leaks ! Putting the vanity back in and connecting the old metal p trap , it now leaks but again OLD HOUSE OLD PIPES no ones fault ! Unfortunately however kenya had FOUR more service calls to make... so she didnt have the time to stay and get it done. (NOT KENYA'S FAULT) she doesnt do the scheduling or the booking she goes where apollo dispatch tells her to go.... so i now have to go to lowes and get stuff to fix this myself , or wait til tomorrow when apollo can get someone out here again ..... why cant apollo allow there employees PLENTY of time to get the job done ? i am VERY frustrated at the how the company handles the scheduling ... they should have allowed kenya to stay and finish the job , it might of taken less than an hour.. AGAIN MY FRUSTRATION IS WITH THE COMPANY NOT THE PLUMBERS !!!! accidents happen , but the company needs to allow time to correct those accidents. I think both plumbers are extremely professional and knowledgeable, i would trust both plumbers rob and kenya to come back and do more work ! both were extremely kind, courteous and EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL!!!!! Rob and kenya both need a raise if it were up to me ! I would highly reccomend apollo to anyone they just need to work on scheduling and not over bookin and allowing time for accidents. If anyone says these accidents could have been prevented they are wrong , i watched them both work and they did nothing wrong at all !
