  We have a mysterious sewage smell in our house and garage. Jared came out right away to check on the issue. He wasn’t able to figure out where it is coming from, but had several ideas of what it could be. He put together a plan and gave me a quote so I knew what to expect. He also offered a maintenance package for heating and cooling which we were in need of since our friend that did it previously passed away. The maintenance package is a great deal and saves us money on the current service we need done for the sewage smell. I just scheduled my service so I will update later.

  Auburn Heating's technician Joel came out today Sunday 5/3 to troubleshoot our new heat pump installation, which hasn't been working properly on these cold mornings the last 3 days. He was very conscientious and explained his approach, eventually concluding the thermostat that was supplied wasn't compatible with our system. We'll be getting a new thermostat and then see if the system behaves properly (although I'm not sure it'll be a good test as morning temps are expected to be considerable higher, ~50F, than they have been ~34F). We'll see. There was no charge for this service since the system has yet to operate properly since installation. I should add that Auburn's tech Greg was out here on Friday 5/1, also troubleshooting our system. It was his first time here so a learning curve. He cleaned up the wiring in the basement and did his best to get our system working, which I appreciate. Before and after pics shown.

  I have an air conditioner that was installed in fall 2023 and today at a spring service appointment they charged me 795.00. I questioned the company and no one can explain why a new unit needs to have freon added to it if there isn't a issue. No problem Last year! The unit has been working beautifully. I have sent several people to Auburn because in the past I was very pleased. They install air conditioner, furnace, water heaters and have done work for several friends and all my family members. I will have to think twice about using them again or recommending them. Its an unfortunate situation!

  Greg was on time, Professional, friendly, knowledgeable. Greg was here too do an air conditioning inspection. He was thorough in his inspection and was kind enough to explain the details of what he was looking for and what he found with regard to my system. He’s a very gentle man and took much care and everything he did. He wore his booties into the house and was respectful of our property. I had questions with regard to a freestanding AC unit, which he was unfamiliar with. He took a picture of the unit and was going to inquire about it when he got back to the shop. I would love to have Greg as my Person for all my AC duties. Thank you

  Greg came reviewed the unit and started looking into possible causes. Determined initial problem as well as the underlying issue that has been causing the unit to decline over the last 4 years. We have had the company who installed the unit out many times over the years and they kept coming back with there’s nothing wrong with the unit. Today Greg B. came and not only diagnosed the problem but also fixed the underlying problem that no one else could find for years in a matter of hours. Greg was great with walking me through the estimates as well as what he was seeing with the unit. He made sure I understood what was going on each step of the way. I would recommend him as well as this company to people I know.
