For the past 86 years the family behind Harley Drilling has made a name for itself in Ohio’s oil and gas industry. The first gas well was drilled in an Ohio oil field in 1884, and we’ve been proud to be part of that legacy since 1937! Now being run by third and fourth-generation Harleys, we manage oil wells and natural gas wells that we own and operate—ranging from 400 to 6,000 feet deep — as well as service commercial customers and landowners who own their own wells all over the state. We also act as consultants to folks wishing to acquire an oil and gas well. Oil field services range from drilling and excavation to site preparation and restoration. Other services include workover rigs, repair and maintenance of downhole pumps, well swabbing, water hauling, well treating, pipeline construction and repair, well hookup, roustabout services, spill cleanup, frac tank rental, mud pump rental, power swivel rental and half tak rental. As a seasoned oil field service company, we have experience with both conventional (vertical) wells and unconventional (horizontal) wells. Over the years, the family began to do excavation work, including building pad construction, land clearing, driveway installation, post hole digging (18-foot and 24-foot) and drainage work.
