  Would absolutely not recommend. My wife and I took time off work to meet with Joe at the Beavercreek location. When we arrived at the prearranged scheduled time, the door was locked and lights were off. We knocked on the door and glass and no one answered. We called the number on the door, only to get a voicemail. While standing along the sidewalk in the cold, we called the Sims Lohman corporate number to see if they had a way to get ahold of Joe. Eventually, 22 minutes later, we watched Joe from the parking lot, walk to the building and unlock the door. He eventually called my wife and said that he “forgot to unlock the door,” which is a downright lie because we watched him enter the building and turn on the lights. A regional manager contacted my wife and apologized and said he would have someone from another local store contact us to make things right and schedule another appointment. It’s been over a week and we haven’t heard a word. We intended to redesign our kitchen with Sims Lohman, but we plan to take our business elsewhere after this experience.

  I would not recommend Sims-Lohman or the local sales representative, Joe Chapman. I initially called this location and left a voicemail to schedule a consultation to discuss expanding our kitchen. Joe returned my call, but he was very short and dismissive during the conversation. When I asked how long appointments typically last, he replied, “That’s entirely up to you.” I also asked who we would be meeting with, and he scoffed before saying, “Me—I’m the only one who works here.” Although the interaction made me hesitant, I decided to move forward and scheduled an appointment. My husband and I both took time off work to attend. When we arrived, the building was dark and the door was locked. I called the number listed for the location, but it continued to ring without answer. Eventually, I contacted the corporate office and spoke with the area manager, who said he would reach Joe. While waiting in our car, my husband and I watched Joe arrive, park his car, enter the building, and turn on the lights—approximately 25 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. Shortly afterward, he called and told me he had “forgotten to unlock the door.” Unfortunately, that explanation did not match what we had just witnessed. I would have completely understood if he had simply said that another meeting ran late or that he had lost track of time. However, the lack of professionalism and honesty left us uncomfortable moving forward. I reported the situation to the area sales manager, who told me that another representative from their Cincinnati location would contact me. It has now been a week, and I have yet to receive a call. Overall, I am very disappointed with this experience and will not be moving forward with Sims-Lohman for our project.

  Just had granite kitchen counter installed, the two young men they sent were real rock stars, I was a contractor for 40 years before retirement and after a final inspection, I was very impressed with the workmanship.

  Excellent service by Joe. The variety and his knowledge of their available products is second to none.

  We are trying to work with them now through Lowes to get granite countertops installed. Zach does not return phone calls. He will try once a day and if you do not answer then good luck. Terrible customer service so far.
