Our recent experience with Comfort Control was outstanding. We had a failing water heater and in no time Comfort Control (Ashland) was fast and efficient. Tom Kithcart, from Comfort Control, was very friendly, knowledgable, and informative, while installing our new system; and his work was done within a very timely manner! Thank you Tom and Comfort Control!

While opening up our new business downtown brought many unexpected challenges and professional growth—Joe and his team were ready to step in and get the job done. They went above and beyond every step of the way! Through frigid temperatures, a season of busy-ness, hectic scheduling, and new issues consistently arising--they were always there ready to find a solution. Without their expertise and knowledge-I’m not sure we’d be ready to open this weekend. Forever grateful for a great crew with honesty and integrity—a great example of how I’d like to lead our small business in such a great town too! Thank you, Joe and team!!!! Will always ALWAYS recommend you!

First off, I would like to thank everyone in this company that I interacted with in the situation that I am about to describe. These employees actually did a great job...OK, in 2021 I bought and had installed a new furnace from Ashland Comfort Control. No problems, no complaints. About 5 or 6 weeks ago I noticed a small puddle of water under the furnace. Called Comfort Control to have it looked at. They were booked about a week out. Fair enough, other places were booked a week out also. So the tech came out on time, was very polite. I am VERY THANKFUL that he found that my unit had a carbon monoxide leak. I had smelled nothing and my detector never went off. He rightfully condemned the unit on the spot and the company had to order a new heat exchanger. Let me repeat again, how THANKFUL I am that this was found. BUT, it is my understanding that this company does not keep spares on hand. What? They were really good about providing me with excellent portable heating units, but, it took until the beginning of the next week to arrive. It went below freezing over the weekend. Unit arrived Monday a.m.. Installation personnel and service manager very polite and great at what they do. In fact, everyone was. But be aware, and maybe all HVAC companies have the same policy and practice: I had bought a NEW UNIT and only 4 years later it had this defect. I''m so lucky and thankful it was discovered. But no replacement heat exchangers for this type of unit on hand? The replacement unit itself was free BUT, my bill for the labor was $838. I had been informed of this from early on in the process, of course you are going to pay it, because, well, THEY SORT OF HAVE YOU NOW DON'T THEY? But when your automobile was last recalled by the manufacturer, did you have to pay labor costs? And if I had kids around, we would have been looking for any hotel immediately. Everyone did a great job and was polite, but in the future I would ask before buying, "do you stock all parts for this unit", maybe you keep one on hand for an emergency? Is labor covered in the event of a catostrophic breakdown ? I don't agree with ANY policy where the consumer carries ALL of the risk and cost. I assume some responsibility for not having the yearly check done by the way, maybe it would have been caught then...but if you have little kids and this happens, if you're lucky and catch it, you could be out $2000 easy with lodging costs. So there was good and bad...just be enlightened; might a different HVAC company keep better parts on hand and not charge the consumer labor for problems that should NEVER happen? I would ask before making a purchase, never hurts to be an informed consumer...my last words - EMPLOYEES were great, actual PRODUCT, well based on my experience I would have to say "iffy" is generous, and finally POLICY - not thrilling...
