  Had a floor drain backup. Set up an appointment in the middle of the night and contacted first thing in the morning my the J and J team. Doug B. came out and was super knowledgeable, friendly, and great to work with. He snaked our main line and ultimately found we had roots in our system (old house originally built in the 20’s). Drains are flowing free and clear and learned some great things to keep in mind going forward. Will definitely be calling back to J and J for any plumbing concerns in the future!

  My furnace went out at 7 pm on a Sunday night I called and Zach was here with in 2 hours got my furnace running!Mind you 4 people in my house just got over the new flu and not able to spend the night in a house with no heat when it’s 20 degrees outside.I very thankful for their fast and efficient service,I highly recommend J and J I’ve also used them for plumbing.

  Your technician was very pleasant, capable and efficient. I am sorry, but I have no way of valuing his performance. I was caught in a bind: leaking kitchen faucet. Water running onto and under the cabinets. i had no choice but to accept his recommendation of a new faucet. He tried to find a replacement to my existing faucet, but it was no longer made. He tried to show us new faucets on his cell phone. Very difficult. So, we made a decision to go with his recommendation to install a new faucet for some $900. Once that decision was made, his actions were very capable and efficient.

  We had an urgent electrical matter the day after a holiday, and J & J was able to send someone the same day. We recently moved into this house, and in addition to our issue, had general questions. Scott, solved our problem and answered all of our other questions. We even reviewed how to tackle some additional potential electrical projects. Scott was knowledgeable, friendly, resolved our issue, and respected our property. Thank you, Scott.

  Very prompt, courteous, and friendly service, but truth be told, J&J was in over their heads when they said they could come out and service my mini-split HVAC system. I even went so far as to tell them what I believed the issue was (a small leak at a schrader valve that caused my refrigerant to be low and prevent sufficient heat cycling). They sent out a technician to my home, and he said he thought it was full and didn't want to test it since the system is critically charged. They charged me a little over $200 for the call, but literally accomplished nothing. Less than a week later, I had a more experienced individual come out to see the unit, and it turns out I was 100% correct. I was low on refrigerant and they added two pounds - my unit went back to functioning perfectly. I appreciate their expedient service and friendliness, but they literally took my money for nothing even though I had properly diagnosed the issue for them in advance. I would recommend you consider a different service provider if you have a mini-split system. EDIT 01/08 - I appreciate the response J&J provided, but walking away from a system that's not functioning and doing nothing to repair it is not an "approach" that I would consider acceptable from my technicians. I could go further into how the subsequent technician did not simply "top off" my system, but it's not really relevant. Truth be told, J&J did not know how to service my system. The technician they sent even apologized that they didn't know what to do and it was a more sophisticated system than they had seen before. If the equipment is beyond the scope of what you're comfortable working on, that's absolutely fine and understandable. Going out, charging someone money to do NOTHING, is not.
