i had a great experience working with valley roofing and construction from start to finish. their team was professional, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. they took the time to explain the issues in my basement and clearly outlined the best solution.
the work was complicated on schedule, the crew was respectful of my home, and everything was left clean and organized when they were done. most importantly the results have been excellent--- my basement is now dry and gives me real peace of mind.

We had our entire basement waterproofed along with a new sump pump installed. I cant speak highly enough about the professionalism of the entire operation--from discussing options through providing frequent communication about the process and requirements to completing the job quickly and efficiently

Frequently Asked Questions About Valley Roofing And Construction
Do you offer free estimates?
We do provide complimentary estimates for our clients. This service includes a thorough roof inspection and a detailed discussion about your specific roofing requirements.
How long does a roof replacement take?
The duration of a residential roof replacement typically ranges from one to two days. However, this timeframe can vary depending on factors such as weather conditions and the complexity of your roof's design.
Can you repair my roof instead of replacing it?
Certainly. If the damage to your roof is limited to a specific area and the rest of the roof is in good condition, we often recommend repairs as the most cost-effective solution.
What roofing materials do you offer?
We offer a variety of roofing materials to suit different needs and preferences. These include asphalt shingles, metal roofing, tile, slate, and flat roofing systems. Our team will assist you in selecting the most suitable option based on your budget, durability requirements, and aesthetic preferences.
What basement masonry repair services do you provide?
Our basement masonry repair services encompass a range of solutions for damaged brick, block, stone, or mortar in basement walls. This includes addressing issues such as crack repair, mortar joint restoration (repointing), wall stabilization, and repairs related to moisture damage.
What causes basement masonry damage?
Several factors can lead to basement masonry damage. These include water infiltration and inadequate drainage, repeated freeze-thaw cycles, hydrostatic pressure from saturated soil, foundation settling or soil movement, and deterioration of mortar or substandard initial construction.
Are cracks in basement walls normal?
Minor hairline cracks can occur naturally as a house settles. However, cracks that are expanding, horizontal in nature, form a stair-step pattern, or are allowing water to seep through are indicators of more serious issues that require professional inspection.
What's the difference between vertical and horizontal cracks?
Vertical cracks are often the result of normal settling and may not be as concerning. Horizontal cracks, on the other hand, typically indicate pressure from soil or water and are considered structural issues that require prompt attention.
Can basement masonry damage cause water leaks?
Indeed, damaged or deteriorated masonry can allow water to penetrate, resulting in leaks. This can lead to damp walls, mold growth, and persistent musty odors in your basement.
How do you repair cracked masonry walls?
Our approach to repairing cracked masonry walls depends on the severity and cause of the damage. Methods may include epoxy or polyurethane crack injection, mortar joint repointing, masonry patching or block replacement, and wall reinforcement using techniques such as carbon fiber straps or steel beam installation.
