  We @Rockland Rowing Association had one anchor post that had worked it's way out of the ground and needed it driven back into place before the winter ice sets. I cold-called several fence companies, including the company that originally installed the said fence post. I had wildly disparate quotes (up to $1,100), but FESCO took the time to go out and complete the work. Whether it was community spirit, customer service or good will, the job turned out to be easy enough that they did not bill us!! Thank you for your community spirit and that's why you are celebrating 50 years in business. One post= one happy group of rowers.

  I recently requested an estimate from Fest Fence, and while we ultimately went with another provider, I wanted to leave a strong recommendation for their service. Steven who came out was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind—it was a truly positive experience. The product's quality also appeared excellent. In the end, we chose a company whose quote fit better within our current budget. However, if budget isn’t your main concern, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fest Fence for their outstanding customer service and quality presentation. Thank you again for the great experience!

  Terrible experience, and would never recommend this company. They quoted me $5k plus to fix an electric gate installation that was not working. I thought, OK, it might be 3 or 4 days to fix it, maybe some digging and conduit and perhaps the price is reasonable. Nope - one day with a tech and the gate was working. BUT not completely. They did not fix an issue with the gates not closing correctly. The electric-eye cable they did put in was without a conduit. And soon after the on-line system they set up stopped working. Oh too bad, said their aggressive (pay me now) sales guy David Hayes. (I note that all of the good reviews never mention him so I bet he pocketed most of the overcharge.) Dave was very happy to tell me that fixing those things is not in the scope of work - MORE money needed. And the reason they are so expensive for one day of work is because their technicians are brain surgeons in their spare time! Anyway, I’ll find someone else to fix the problems and take that cost off their final invoice. Honestly, these are aggressive, overcharging people who clearly don’t care about customer service. Just avoid them. Ahhh - I see Fesco's response to my review. Wow, many lies. Mr Hayes is very busy covering his ass with his boss for sure. 1. I did not get a separate proposal for other 'comprehensive work'. I was verbally offered to install a battery backup, which I declined in the early discussions. 3. I did not request 'fastest and cheapest' solution. Was told that the work they would have the gate fully running. 4. The posts installed by others are not mis-aligned. Mr Hayes showed me what is needed to get the gates to close properly; a shim taken out, then a few turns of a screw up the top of the gate. But this was going to cost an extra $2k at least, he said. He definitely could not do it for the money we were already quoted (over $5k). (I thought to myself that it seemed like an hour or two of work for a couple of guys, but heck... certainly the posts don't need to be moved, just needed a 're-hang' as Mr Hayes told me) 5. I did not get an offer once the online system stopped working for a tech to fix the technical issue. Mr Hayes yelled instead and said that I had to pay up before they would consider fixing anything! He was really aggressive. I had to hang up on him. And I reiterate that they quoted and charged me $5,720.72 for just ONE day of work, and still did not finish things - the online system is not working, the gates do not close correctly, the cable they did install is not in a conduit. etc. But I guess they had to get back to their brain surgery work. As I was told many times, that was why the job was so expensive - they have to charge the same for each.
