  Bought a new Carrier furnace from these guys and the installation seemed to go smoothly. For the first 2 days everything looked good, then I came home from work to hear water running in the basement. Turned out the 1/4in line going to the new humidifier was improperly installed and came loose resulting in over 600gal of water flooding the basement. Initial response by Petcosky was great, but the adjusters and contractor they picked to respond soon added to my problem. Poor communication, little coordination, and the Christmas holidays were coming, Petcosky was quickly losing interest. It wasn't until I threaten to call a lawyer did I get a new adjuster who actually solved all the problems. I thought I would pay a little more and get better service and support, instead I got the impression these guys are much more interested in high value commercial contracts than the much smaller residential jobs. Look for a contractor who values their customers opinion if problems arise more than the money they can get out of them.
