  Blanding is AMAZING! I'd been having issues with my lights flickering ever since NYSEG replaced my meter with a smart meter. After NYSEG said the issue was a bad neutral and it was my responsibility I called Blanding for an estimate. Their service manager came out and quoted me $1500 but said that NYSEG should have done this repair as part of the meter installation. David was able to grease the wheels with NYSEG and were able to get the entire line from the weather head to the panel replaced at NYSEG's expense. Once this was complete I had Blanding install a generator hookup and it works perfectly. If you're ever in need of electrical work I'd HIGHLY recommend them; you won't be disappointed.

  You quoted a price for installing a ring floodlight on side of house at around $260 not sure the exact quote but definitely not $364.50 which is the bill you sent me. And the installer said he had installed Ring cameras before. Well after installing and they left camera hasn’t worked a button has to be pushed on the light to work properly. So I can’t get up there because of age and lack of good balance so now I have a ring camera not working properly, and a bill from you for $393.66. I have done business with you before and very happy, but this time a failure. Not able to contact you earlier and didn’t know why it wasn’t working properly until today finally was able to get Ring on the phone with someone who I could understand and was told a button had to be pushed on the floodlight to record video. So I have a ring camera not recording fully.

  Blanding Electric had done some electrical work in preparation for our corrugator project at my place of employment. I worked daily in the area where their employees worked and I’ve never seen a better group of workers! They were professional at all times , tidy, courteous and always using their time wisely. Although I had very limited interaction with them personally, I could see them whenever they were working. We’ve had various contractors in and out for a few months and Blanding Electric made quite an impression. I would recommend and use them for any future projects.
