- JJJim JNov 20, 20252.0I had a concrete job completed at my residence by Blount Concrete. A few months into the winter season, the top surface layer chipped / popped in numerous locations as if there was water below the surface and it froze. Less than 4 months old and it looks terrible. To the best of my knowledge, the surface was never sealed. If that was my responsibility no one ever mentioned it to me. Assuming this is a known outcome in concrete, it would nice if it was discussed as a possibility beforehand. Welcome to the new norm in quality workmanship.

There was a huge hole in the foundation. The filled it, sealed it and poured the concrete. I now have the problem fixed and a beautiful patio. They answered every question I had. They are a great crew. Would recommend highly.
