  Great communication! The crew was prompt, very friendly, did an excellent job, and cleaned up everything after. I've had them do a door and a dozen windows in my house on 4 different occasions and I've been very happy every time. Highly recommend!

  The product and work where First class, the employees were friendly and knowledgeable, and did a fantastic job with the installation of a new picture window. I have had Comfort do many installations for me and the whole process has been easy and seamless.

  I've had manageable problems with the siding since it was first installed. Siding popping off in high winds, bending due to heat expansion in summer, brittle cracking in winter, siding popping off due to snow, etc. The repair guys left an unopened box of siding in my garage for future problems because of the frequency of visits. I live in the snow belt and expected the siding to be rated for the snowbelt, especially since the Comfort sales person recommended the siding for my location. Now the representative claims that the damage was due to snow, they won't show up to do repairs, and I find that to be disingenuous. Previously, Comfort promptly honored the warranty, but not anymore. Note that I still have an unopened box of siding in my garage, because the Comfort workers anticipated more problems. Since Comfort won't honor the lifetime warranty, I will need to hire another company to do the repairs, or I'll need to climb on the roof of my house to fix the siding problems myself. I am not young, so wish me the best.

  One of the worst experiences I've had with a contractor. I would never recommend them to anyone. Justification: 1 - Installed a storm door that literally didn't close. They installed the door and left without fully testing it. Once they had left I went close to close the house door only to find that they had installed the storm door such that the hardware was aligned with the deadbolt hardware on the pre-existing house door and the two couldn't be simultaneously closed. When I called they couldn't get me in touch with anyone to help and the next day had a voicemail suggesting I replace the hardware on the pre-existing door. 2 - Installed the wrong color siding on my house and refused to admit any fault. I came home to find my house sided with the wrong siding. They insisted I was wrong, however I kept the brochure that the salesman had circled the correct color in. They told me they didn't even sell the brand that brochure was for, then I found it listed on their website as a brand they sell. At that point they changed their story and admitted they sell it, but it's not their preferred brand. Over the phone they told me they would work it out, I was willing to accept it if I could be compensated. They waited two days then texted me telling me they weren't going to do anything and they didn't screw up. They never bothered to call me or to come over to have an actual conversation and instead sent text messages. Completely unprofessional. 3 - Took the outlets off my house without securing any breakers, so I had live wires sticking out. Then knocked out power to half my house while I was at work and never said a word to me. I came home to find half my lights out and my garage door opener not working. 4 - Miswired my exterior GFI outlet when they reinstalled it and clearly never tested it. As soon as you hit the reset the test would instantly pop. They even plugged something into it which was very clearly not working when plugged into the bad outlet. All of which I found on my own because no inspection was done on their end. 5 - Requested final payment before the job was complete. They texted requesting final payment when they had left a large pile of scrap wood and trash in the yard that they had not cleaned up and clearly didn't intend to clean up until I demanded it before making final payment. 6 - Never did a full clean up and definitely didn’t run a magnet through the yard. I found hundreds of nails in my yard where my family walks and the dogs go out. One spot looked like they literally dumped a full box of nails and just left it. I understand a few nails, but his was literally hundreds. I also had large pieces of styrofoam, tape rolls, scrap hardware, and vinyl siding pieces scattered all around the house. 7 - They never did a final walk through with us to ensure we were satisfied with their work, which I find completely unprofessional. It was clear that the person running the job had never stopped by after the initial kickoff. 8 - Their roofing quote was so expensive we went elsewhere for that part of the job (Melo), and I'm so glad we did. They did what we asked and even cleaned up after! In the end it was clear that working with Comfort was a mistake. Save yourself the headache and find someone else… otherwise your house might end up the wrong color, with a door that doesn’t close, outlets that don’t work, and nails everywhere like some kind of home alone trap.

  Definitely a 5. Comfort just did the vinyl siding on our home. They tore off all of the old siding, wrapped the house in a water resistant barrier, then installed a dutchlap vinyl siding with insulation. Our house looks awesome. The crew leader, Tony, was very communicative and the work crew were very, very nice and did an outstanding job. They were super hard workers. We are very pleased with how everything looks. Comfort replaced all of the windows in our old townhouse in Clay. They have replaced all of the windows in our current home, along with our front door, and the shower in our master bathroom. We are extremely satisfied with Comfort from the sales experience, the crews that do the installations and the final product. We would recommend them to anyone.
