From initial estimate with Rick, to installation by Nick! 1st of all was so refreshing to hear people say nothing but the best things about their company. That in and of itself, made me happy. We had Insulation installed in attic, basement, and shared wall between garage and home, as well as having my bathroom fan vented out through roof. Nick was meticulous about sealing air leaks prior to the actual Insulation install. (Which another company felt unnecessary.) Thank you Nick!!! So glad I got more than one estimate! Price was reasonable, and I can't believe what a difference I already feel in my home! 42degrees outside, no heat on, and my house is at 69degrees...🥰 Just in time for energy costs going up! - AFAnthony FotiJan 15, 20185.0We hired Towne to insulate our 1950’s built home. They were to blow cellulose into the walls thru the brick. The project was several thousand dollars but our home is drafty and we were very willing to pay to have it fixed. It appeared that there was no insulation in the walls and that is a common problem in our area in older homes. When John and Rob began working, they discovered that we did have insulation and so they could add a small amount more but that it would not help us much with the issue. And so, instead of continuing and charging us thousands for useless work, they stopped and told us they could not, in good conscience, continue and charge us knowing it would not help. I would never had known that they could not blow in the insulation. I would have paid. They wasted a few hours at my house. They charged me nothing. Instead they suggested the issue was a lack of insulation at the floor joist level which they can fix via a different route. They showed me where the cold air was coming in and more insulation from above as we had planned would not help that situation. The honesty, integrity and professionalism they displayed was exemplary. I truly believe many other companies would have “finished” the house and charged me even though it would have been useless. I am very glad I had such a great crew work on my home and I would strongly recommend them to anyone. They will be over soon to fix the issue and I am so grateful to John and Rob for their help.
