Yesterday, a kind neighbor recommended Energywise, saying that this company has been wonderful, and indicating that they have been customers for years. So with cold weather on the horizon, I took a leap of faith and called Energywise on a Saturday night. My situation was met with patience and understanding by Mary Ann who answers the phone on weekends. She walked me through what my costs would be, both with or without a contract. There was absolutely no pressure – just a genuine offer of help. There was even an offer to send someone the next day – which happened to be Sunday. Upon deciding to go forward with the repair, I was advised that a technician named Jason would be visiting Sunday afternoon after I return from church, and that I would be notified when he was on his way. Everything progressed just as I was told, and Jason arrived on time, and with a friendly, reassuring manner that really helped in calming my frazzled nerves. It turned out that the boiler was overfilled with water, which he proceeded to drain in an amount of about 5 gallons. After that, my 30-year-old steam boiler kicked on., and within 10 minutes the radiators were all hot. I was so grateful and so relieved that I didn’t need some major repair, or worse still, was in need of a new boiler. In this time of economic stress, and/or if you are just looking for a trustworthy, Knowledgeable, straightforward company that will not try to oversell you – Energywise is for you! I offer my highest recommendation!
