  After I installed LED light bulbs in a kitchen light fixture that was 30+ years old and replaced the glass plate covering the bulbs, the fixture stopped working. I called Nichols Electric for help and they were able to put me on the schedule the same day. From the time I called until the job was completed was 2.6 hrs. The person who took my call recommended that I purchase a new light fixture before the technician arrived which was very helpful because I was ready in case the old fixture needed to be replaced. Ethan and Nick were both very personable and did a great job troubleshooting the problem and replacing the old fixture with the one I purchased. I will definitely call Nichols Electric for any future electrical concerns.

  Called Nichols with a non-emergency but urgent plumbing issue. Because it wasn’t an emergency, we scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. Joe Brennan, the plumber, arrived on time. We reviewed 2 options to solve the issue and found the less expensive solution the better option. Joe had all the tools and supplies on the truck so the work started immediately. Within 30 minutes of arriving the issue was resolved. Very satisfied with Nichols, Joe and most importantly the final fix.

  Ethan and his assistant, Jack, installed 3 Ring floodlights, two provided by me and the third provided by the business. Not only were the floodlights installed but I was also provided help with adding them to my Ring Dashboard. I was delighted to receive this help and really felt that not only the electrical work was being effectively done but I was receiving total care and support! Ethan knows his craft and is a very personable and effective communicator. I truly enjoyed interacting with him and his assistant and learning from them about the work that needed to be done. He and his assistant, Jack, did a great job! I have used this business before and will not hesitate to call again when the need arises for future work. I highly recommend Nichols Electric and Plumbing!

  JoeI was assigned a service call to my home due to a serious draining issue on three of my sinks. Joel had been to my house previously to do work and I knew his reputation and his skill so I was very confident that this problem would get resolved. And as I expected, he was able to determine the cause and make the necessary repairs. He even looked into a situation that I didn't expect him to and he came up with a solution to that as well and didn't charge me extra for the time only for the part. This was all done while being very professional. Joel took care of my home too, leaving it the same way he found it. Nichols P and E has been the only company I use for my plumbing and electrical needs and I have never been dissatisfied.

  I've used Nichols for Electric work in the past, and just had one of their plumbers, Jesh, out to repair 1 toilet and replace another. The whole team is great to work with - the schedulers in the office are helpful but know when to defer questions to the technicians, they send a helpful introduction of your technician when they're on the way, and also give you a call to confirm it's a good time within the window when they head over. Their work has always been excellent and they've been super patient with all of my questions to make sure I understood the plan & my options when they've come out to provide quotes. I will certainly use them again and would recommend them.
