  Look Elsewhere for Your Flooring Project!! We went to the store in Henrietta in early November and paid a $50 deposit for an estimate for basement flooring. A few days later, the installer came to our house and took the measurements. He said we would hear back shortly with an estimate. After several weeks passed without hearing anything, I contacted Joe, the store owner. That was my first clue that this was a poorly run operation, but unfortunately I proceeded and paid $4,400 for the flooring and installation. The flooring arrived soon after and I awaited a call to set up the installation. No call happened. I proceeded to call Joe again and he said would call the installer and he would get in touch with me. No call happened. I had to call on 5 different occasions and each time the same thing happened. No call from the installer and no call from Joe to check in to see if it was resolved. It is now February and the flooring continues to collect dust in my basement. I finally got my deposit back and I finally have an installation date for mid February. I have lost all confidence with Joe and his operation. I have tried to cancel my install and return the flooring, but Joe tells me I would have to pay a 25% fee! Not just on the flooring, but on the installation that has not happened. When I asked to speak to Joe’s supervisor, he tells me he has none and he is the highest person in the northeast. I have reached out to Customer Care, but all I got back after that was a call from Joe. There is a clear lack of proper customer service and very little attention to detail after they received my payment from this store owner. It takes a lot from me to go write a negative Google review on a company, but I feel other potential customers need to be warned.

  I ordered flooring from this company and was told I would receive a call within two weeks when it was ready for pickup. Three weeks later, I had received no call, so I went to the location myself. After checking their system, I was told the order was ready and sent to the back—only to then be informed there was a mistake and that the flooring was not actually ready. When I asked when it would be ready, I was told they did not know. At that point, I explained that I needed the flooring and would purchase elsewhere, and I requested a refund for the cash I had paid. I was told they could not refund cash. I said a check was fine, but then I was told a 25% “restocking fee” would be deducted. There was no restocking—the product was never in my possession and had not even arrived. I requested a full refund. At that point, staff threatened to call the police over my request for a full refund. No police were called by them; instead, I contacted the police myself due to the situation. The refund was eventually issued, but the entire experience was unprofessional and stressful. The lack of communication, the misinformation about my order, and the intimidation tactics made this the worst customer service experiences I have had. I strongly recommend staying far away from this business. They do not deliver on time, do not communicate, and do not treat customers fairly.
