- KSKimberly ScottJul 28, 20252.0Just had an entire roof and gutters with guards replaced a few weeks ago. We received quotes from 2 other roofing companies. We decided to go with Fine Line Improvements because they had quoted us a decent price, one of the review site had good reviews and the owner, Patrick seemed very knowledgeable. Unfortunately not great reviews on here. Wish we would have checked other review sites. The office staff were very friendly and polite before they got half the payment but quickly after that no communication. After they finished and did cleanup on the roof we only saw them give a quick swipe in a very small area with the magnet sweeper. The gutter guys still had to come back to install the new gutters and was told that once the dumpster was gone they would come back and do more magnet sweeping to get rid of the nails and such. We had our gutters replaced from same company and overheard the guys saying they found nails all over the place. After they left and the dumpster was gone we also found some in our driveway. So we borrowed a magnet sweeper from a friend and found a huge pile of nails, along with a razor blade and other debris. Several days after everything was done we didn’t hear from the owners, Patrick or his wife Nicole. We had to reach out to them for the last payment invoice. No one even came out to do a final inspection of the roof and gutters. Very very disappointed in the cleanup and communication after they received payment. This company seemed all about the money and not about the respect of their customers.
