Hampton's Air couldn't get someone out right away, unfortunately, but they were able to get someone out this week. Jesus was helpful and explained the situation; in the end I wish that could've happened a week earlier but that's not his fault! We've had a couple of experiences w/ Hampton's Air now and they've been positive. I'm giving 5 stars because the service itself has been positive and the pricing is reasonable; the week+ wait wasn't great but I don't want to ding the folks delivering the service for that.
- TMTom Mccarthy4 days ago5.0Hampton's Air is the team you want on your project. I had to replace a 28 year old oil fired furnace for a 3,000 sq. ft house. Roy did the calculations and explained every option along the way. Most project estimators missed important aspects of heating and cooling this house. Not Roy. He's experienced, knowledgeable and most importantly, honest. Frank the project manager is equally knowledgeable and honest. Frsnk's always available by cell. Mike the installation tech was a workhorse, he knew his job and got it done, very professionally, no drywall repairs. The project was reasonably priced and done quickly. Al members of the Hampton's Air team were gentlemen. No one is more skeptical than me. Take my advice, call them and you'll see everything I said is on the mark.
- MMMgravesNov 16, 20255.0While packing for a trip, I checked my new Mitsubishi AC/but the Heat settings didn't work. I was frustrated BUT a Thank You and a reversal of a comment I left yesterday! The service, was great and the bill correction was within the Hr!! . AC/Heat, system installed this summer. The heat- didn't work, a tech came over, took it out of a system schedule, (set up at installation). Long story short: once I informed the tech, about the schedule, I couldn't de-program, the tech said, "that could very well be the problem" and sure enough, it was. he also informed me that, even if just set up for AC it will override the heat! I tipped the tech., but in about an hour, I got a $103. bill. I described this situation on a review (I was covered by my warranty) and my outrage! To Junior's (one of the owner's) credit, I got a phone call that same evening, he apologised, that the tech was unaware of the warranty, that he corrected the invoice to 0.00, and though I could not take the time, right now, he offered to come over and go through the set up! I respect that kind of follow through, and the responsibility he took in his business. Trust is hard to come by now a days and eastern Long Island is rife with games. Junior came through, a true responsible and professional response to the situation; the way anyone would want. I can't ask for more than that. Hampton co has surprised me twice now, I recommend this co.!
