    I had a small fire in my apartment kitchen that caused everything in the kitchen, including the inside of my cabinets, to be covered with smoke and soot. There was no physical damage, but it was awful. My insurance broker recommended Matthew Torrres, a project director at the Manhattan location First Onsite Property Restoration. He quickly came , gave me a very fair estimate and we set a date to do the work. The crew that came to clean was excellent, headed by Julian. My kitchen looks better than ever. I would highly recommend First OnSite for any restoration project.

    They deserve 0 stars. Did some work in 2023 which was incomplete and caused more damage to my floor and cabinets which they never repaired (the damage I hired them for was for the ceiling and walls); then they sent me a bill for 3 times the estimate; my insurance pointed out to them where they had illegally overcharged and told them to send me a new corrected invoice; they never did and after multiple phone calls and emails, never heard from them again until 2 years later when they sent me to collections without any attempt to contact me by email, mail, or phone call first. Called them multiple times thereafter and each time was told there was no one available to speak with me because the New York office did not have a working phone, and that someone would call me back within 2 business days. 4 weeks and 5 follow up calls from me later and still no return call. This is a scam. Stay far away from them. I will have to take legal action against them.

    Michael was amazing! Our retail store flooded and I reached out to First On Site. Michael was quick, prompt, communicative and overall a great person to work with. 100% will absolutely work with them again.

    First Onsite was hired to do the mold remediation work after the water damage to our apartment in Manhattan. The staff has damaged walls and personal property in the process and did not disclose to us (we found the damages upon our return back) Also, one of the agreed repairs has not been done as outlined in the scope of work document. Upon questioning Jared, the lead, told us they can return and do, it if we still want the repair…why was it not done in the first place? If you want to hire company with the lack of leadership, professionalism, quality oversight, proper issue resolution which charges super high cost for service they don’t deliver -this company is it! I do not personally recommend it!

    I had a flood in my storage room with a half of inch of water on Thursday night. They responded immediately to my call and arrived to the building within a couple of hours. They had the area cleaned and smelling good in 3 hours. They did an amazing job and I highly recommend them.
