  Mike F. From NH Ross was OUTSTANDING! Patient, efficient, nice, prompt, and explained everything clearly. I was so impressed with his professionalism and ability to work well. I shared about having a 14 month old baby, and he was adamant that he needed to get this set so my son could have a bath without worrying (it was a shower handle cartridge replacement). Will absolutely utilize again! Thrilled with the strive, and Mike F., total rockstar. Ask for him if you call NH Ross! Promise you will be thrilled.

  Beware of this company. I definitely should have paid attention to the yelp reviews. Overpriced, made the situation worse upon their first service call, took over a week to get a part that we could have gotten at Lowe’s same day (when I asked Ken about this, he lied to us and said it wasn’t the same part. It ultimately was). The 2nd visit was 2 days later on a Friday. We were told that they would be here at 1pm, they didn’t get here until 6pm. That tech came with the wrong part, ordered the new part and told us we would be priority on Monday morning. They didn’t show up on Monday until 5pm to only be here for 15 minutes. After complaining to John about this (it takes a lot for me to complain) he offered us a $75 refund that we never received and I had to call back for. So for what took 15 minutes to fix, because of NH Ross we had to wait for almost a week, we ended up paying well over what we should have, had water damage as a result of what the first service tech did and not one person (Ken or John) cared about it. The fact that they could have purchased the part from Lowe’s and fixed it for us immediately instead of being here at 3 separate times is ridiculous. The only reason we stuck with them is because when they took the deposit for the job they “accidentally” processed the full amount. Being that we are good and honest people, we just let them do the job instead of fighting. I can’t say the same for these people, who are the very opposite of good and honest. The lack of care and concern they have for their “customers” is beyond my comprehension.

  Got estimate for over $4000 to install 40 gal electric hot water heater. The unit was about $400. So the estimate as I was told was $3600 labor for about a 3 hr job. Thats $1200 an hr. . Plumber rates on LI are about 250/hrs. They are ridulously high at Ross. Go somewhere else.

  Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. I called to schedule an estimate, I let the representative know I just moved into my home, I do not have any air conditioning systems, I have oil for heating and I’m looking to get central air installed. The representative proceeded to schedule a free estimate. A technician came to my house, took pictures of the inside of my home and was here for an hour looking throughout and went to his truck to draw up a quote only to come back and say NH Ross will not do new installations for central air. He proceeded to say he tried to convince them it was an easy job and they said they don’t want to do the job. Flabbergasted because why wasn’t this mentioned before scheduling. A complete waste of time. Also, the technician said he was unaware that they did not do new installations. I can imagine why because the website says they install and the representative was aware of exactly what I needed! Thoroughly confused and extremely disappointed.

  Called with an emergency — a burst hot water heating pipe behind the basement wall. I contacted the office at 10 a.m., and the plumber was onsite within 2 hours. Mike F. was courteous, professional, and confident. He immediately knew what the problem was and how to fix it. He made a minimal cut through the sheetrock to access the pipe and was very careful. He has great knowledge of heat boilers and got the system back online perfectly after the repair. Just 4 hours later, the house heat was fully restored and ready for the very cold nights ahead. It wasn’t cheap, but it was absolutely worth it! Communication with the office was excellent before and after the job. Great, efficient work — one very satisfied customer! Highly recommend!
