I have been dealing with island custom stairs for years. The service and the workmanship is better than any other staircase builder that I have worked with in the past. Thanks to Kyle and his team

Frequently Asked Questions About Island Custom Stairs & Rails, LLC
Does Island Custom Stairs & Rails build and manufacture staircases on-site?
Yes. All custom wood staircases are built and assembled within our 5,000-square-foot facility located in Medford, NY. Our millwork specialists complete the building processes after initial measurements have been taken and staircase designs have been drafted. We take great pride in fabricating custom railings, stairs, balusters, fittings, accent pieces, and raised paneling in our factory.
Will I have a choice of lumber when building my custom staircase?
Yes. With respect to budgetary considerations and time, we can incorporate different species of wood into staircases, treads, risers, stringers, rails, balusters, and custom fittings.
Do you offer free estimates?

How long will it take to install my staircase?

Are painting and sealing services included with my wooden staircase?
No. Island Custom Stairs & Rails provides only the fabrication, manufacturing, and installation services for our products. A quality finish is important to prevent warping and controlling the moisture content within the selected wood species. This applies to warm and cold environments.
