Installation day was flawless—the crew was punctual, courteous, and incredibly detail-oriented. They worked efficiently, protected our home while working, and cleaned up so thoroughly you’d never know major work had been done. The quality of the windows themselves is outstanding. We immediately noticed improved insulation, and a fresh, clean look inside and out. Window Inserts truly stands out for both craftsmanship and customer service.   Great experience with Window Inserts Inc here in Carmel, NY. They handled my sliding glass door replacement along with a few window replacements and a vinyl window installation... everything came out perfect. The Crew on site was extremely professional, fast, and very friendly... easily the best choice in Putnam County for sliding door or window work. Highly recommend!

  I was looking forward to leaving an awesome review...but I'm sadly disappointed, frustrated, and sorry to leave this review. The staff are great and Angelo was always friendly, courteous, and made himself available for follow up and information. Really nice, hard working people. I had old, double pained windows, many of which had lost their insulation effect, replaced with new Anderson windows. While my windows were old, it was quiet inside my home, with very little outside noise coming in. The day of installation, the Spanish-speaking crew arrived early and worked diligently all day long. They even added of bit of exterior insulation and culk to an area that had damage to it. I could here them outside working, figuring that I could only here them because they were so close to the house. One disappointment, but not a huge deal, is that they left my deck in a bit of a mess, with culk speckled on the deck and aluminum siding of my home and chairs scattered. Granted they had worked all day long and the sun was setting. After they had left and were no longer making noise, the faint noise that I previously occassionally heard was now amplified. I even heard a dog barking and a commercial airplane fly overhead -- something I'd never heard before. I don't know why the difference. But I'm thinking it was the installation. Yes, I got a much better price for the windows and installation complared to a competitor. But I'm thinking that may be because they use less experienced and skilled workers to install. I assume the company doesn't have to pay them as much as they would have to someone who is more highly experienced and skilled(?). The windows are good and seem to be working as expected in terms of insulation. However, I had hopes that it would be even quieter inside my home. Sadly, I'm thinking I got what I paid for. Outside of the noise, I'd give them five stars!

  Could not have been easier to work with them. They were able to schedule an estimate with in 48 hours. Contract came thru email that same day. They were flexible with scheduling installation. Very satisfied. They even worked with a sister company to have our siding upgraded at the same time. They cleaned up very nicely. They were even nice to our dog. 10/10 would recommend
