  Don't even bother looking for another company to purchase, install, or service a Generac generator. The Generac website provided a few recommendations to talk to, but we stopped when we talked to Scott. He is the owner and not a sales person, who answered the phone and answered all my questions. Scott's patience and ability to talk with you—not "pitch" you— sealed the deal for me. I knew we would be contracting with Upstate Power Systems even before he visited us with the presentation. The generator was just installed this Monday and his team, Andrew and Art were efficient, respectful of our home/property, and very personable. A generator is a purchase we've debated about for years. Scott and team made the big purchase and install completely painless, from start to finish.

His attention to detail was impressive, and he ultimately selected an ideal location that balanced functionality, aesthetics, and code requirements. He also handled all town permitting, which removed a major burden from our shoulders and ensured everything was done properly and compliantly. Perhaps most notably, he scheduled the installation and completed it exactly as promised, even with single-digit temperatures the day before. In a time when many contractors struggle with timelines, that level of reliability stands out. Scott and his team were professional, thorough, and dependable throughout the entire process. I would confidently recommend Upstate Power Systems to anyone considering a whole-home generator installation.
