  Matt, Lou, Declan, and Andrew did an absolutely fantastic job on our home generator install. From start to finish, they went above and beyond—making sure everything was done right and taking the time to answer any questions along the way. They were incredibly professional, respectful of our home, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. We couldn’t recommend them more. Thank you again!

  You guys at DS Home Services are phenomenal!!! Quick, thorough, professional. And the crew was super pleasant and helpful. One young man actually picked up garbage that had flown off the sanitation truck this morning along our street! I can't say enough, no words can truly express the awe we feel at how this crew took to this project! DS HOME SERVICES, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

  Very happy with the work done by electrician Brad, installing a couple of ceiling fixtures efficiently and neatly. He was also very kind and helpful answering all my questions. I’m a repeat customer of DS Home Services and will glad call them again for any future projects.

  We had a tall tree fall down taking the outside mounted electrical wires and wires from our TV isp provider. My power utility told me that they were going to cut power off to my house and have certified electrical guy certify everything is safe and up to specs. I called this company and they were able to get to my house within 30 minutes. But the guy who was covering for the main guy wasn't as iell nformed or knowledgeable and made some errors in what was needed for full repair. But after the boss corrected his subordinate the final cost to me was in the exactly the lowest average cost for such service in my area. If you do a Google inquiry on how much I should be paying for this service it turned out this company was not trying to pull a fast one on me. But in reality was very good. I guess I could say I wish b4 work began they would have given me a rough estimate prior so I would not react as shocked when they completed work. Looking back with research this bill was good. I would recommend using them if you are in need of fast service. Due to central Hudson upgrading system and bug windstorm taking out power in many areas I would have gotten power restored the sane day. But due to the two issues I had no power for 36 hours. But this was not their fault but central Hudson.

  I hired DS Home Services to replace a 7-month old furnace that was both inappropriate for my system/house and poorly installed by another local company. That company had failed to diagnose the problem multiple times, and the first time a tech from DS Home Services came out, he had it diagnosed in under 10 minutes. We discussed a couple of options and I was given quotes for both. We agreed on a course of action and they got me on the schedule for a furnace replacement in less than 2 weeks, which I thought was fast, given that it was the end of February and a busy time of year for HVAC companies. On install day, the two techs, Heaye and Fred, arrived on-time and were very amicable. The install took a full day, and everything went smoothly (at least on my end!). Several times I checked in with them on their progress, and they explained everything and answered all of my questions. They also consulted with a supervisor to ensure all of the settings were maximized for my particular setup, corrected several ancillary installation issues caused by the other company, and made sure the system was running properly without experiencing any of the problems I'd had with the previous furnace. They were meticulous in both their installation and their cleanup, leaving my furnace room looking better than it did upon their arrival. I have nothing but good things to say about their techs! I hope this new furnace and configuration solves my previous problems, and I feel confident that DS Home Services will stand by their products and their work. Additionally, their customer service/front desk people have always been available, friendly, and helpful. If you are tired of companies who only want to do the bare minimum and don't take pride in their work, I would suggest giving DS Home Services a call. After the nightmare I've had with the other HVAC company, today's experience with DS Home Services was a very welcome change!
