HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE COMPANY! BEWARE!
Do NOT believe the other 5* review. It can NOT be real. 0*’s would be more appropriate.
1- Placed an order in December, they LOST it. Had to then come back in to showroom to replace the order and start all over. Worked with TOBY, who is nasty, arrogant & obnoxious. She sent Jack to my home to pick up my cabinet doors for glass. He took a $98 fee for stopping by (which should be deducted from the job) but DIDNT take my doors! He said I would hear from him within 5 days.
2- THREE WEEKS LATER - NO WORD FROM JACK. I called each week to follow up and spoke with Toby, who kept stating Jack would get back to me tomorrow. He never called. So I had to eventually ask the cabinet maker, who referred them to us, to get involved.
3- Its now March, and the cabinet maker eventually arranges mineola glass to finally pick up my 6 doors. Two days after pick-up Mineola Glass calls me to let me know the glass I chose is DISCONTINUED! And to come in and pick out another style. I don’t want another style. I wanted the one you sold me TWICE (including the first lost order) before you took a fee.
4- MINEOLA GLASS refuses to refund the $98 fee even though they can NOT fill my order!!!!! I was not going to settle on something I didn't want. They never could fill the order. They didn’t check their inventory, nor their supplier, before selling me and then sending someone over to collect a non-refundable $98 fee.
5- Cabinet maker intervened and verbally got them to agree to a refund given the circumstances and the business they send. It was for naught because Toby changed her mind, refused after all and stated “I absolutely will not do that. No refunds!”
Bottom line is they are liars, unscrupulous, and can not deliver. They will extract a fee from you any way they can. And keep it. If this place is still in business in a year it will be because people don’t heed warnings and want to be abused as a customer.
CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!!!!!!!
