I called knowing one window may have had an issue, hoping they could replace. I was expecting to pay out of pocket. Turns out it was covered on warranty!? They came out and replaced the bad window, and a handful of broken window security tabs. The installer, Rich (I think?) was prompt, friendly, and very kind. Even to my 16.5 year old, nearly blind/deaf dog. He reached out for my dog to sniff for an intro, and was very cautious walking around him. My dog was highly interested and kept trying to follow him around. Rich was very aware of his footing the entire time. It all showed he cared. You don’t find many folks who do the small things. He did. And the window world warranty (even for me NOT as original purchaser) saved me HUNDREDS of dollars. I hope if I need services in the future, that Rich is my installer. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
How long will it take to get my replacement windows? How much time should I allow for the installation?
Since every window ordered is custom-built to fit your home and design choices, manufacturing times vary. Once delivered, the type of window being installed and the type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average, each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
