Although some cabinets arrived scratched and damaged, the company promptly replaced those units. One of the primary reasons we chose Cabinets To Go was their advertised transferable lifetime warranty, which we believed would offer us long-term peace of mind. However, just a few weeks ago, we experienced a significant issue when one of the cabinets fell apart—the face plate on the pull-out drawer detached entirely (see attached photos). When I contacted Cabinets To Go, Case #CASE125991 I was informed that this type of defect is not covered under their lifetime warranty and that we would be responsible for the replacement costs. Request to speak with the Supervisor was ignored. Upon further inquiry, I was told that our kitchen model was discontinued two years ago and that no replacement parts are available. The company later quoted us $150 plus tax for a service technician to attempt a repair. In summary, our experience with the lifetime warranty has been extremely disappointing, as the company has refused to honor their commitment and has instead attempted to charge us additional fees despite the warranty’s promises. I would caution others to carefully consider this before making a purchase.
