Was told I needed a new thermostat. I let the technician install it. This morning after returning home, found the ac unit running and could not shut it off. Had to remove the new thermostat and tried replacing the old one, Lo AND BEHOLD, the old thermostat works!!!! Tried calling several times and not getting a response! I stopped payment to get your attention? Not going to pay for something I didn’t need ! Cancelled additional appointment for repairs in my heating system! TOTAL LACK OF CONFIDENCE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! This is how far off the new thermostat was installed!

Worst experience ever paid them over 2000 to repair my unit and numerous service calls . They where not able to repair unit but kept milking it along just assuming they could . Gave them a chance and plenty of time to make it correct sent them a old fashioned letter . Nothing even called nothing . I think 18 months is enough time to give them and write this .

Having Elm do service calls is always easy and reliable. Today, we had Reggie as our technician and he went above and beyond to also help assess a condensation issue and provided us with an easy solution. Reggie represents Elm as a courteous and knowledgeable professional. Highly recommend Elm!

We hired Elm to install two new central systems for our house and was already more comfortable in our house the night the new systems were turned on. Scott was very helpful and answered all my questions along the way, providing guidance when needed. He has a great crew that did a great job! Would go with Elm again.

I contacted Elm Air to solve a chronic low humidity problem in my home (below 20% on the coldest days). The Assessment: Scott, came for the site visit to provide an estimate and immediately demonstrated his expertise. He caught a configuration issue with one of my existing air handlers (heating coils on return side instead of supply side) that the original installer had missed. He knew the Aprilaire product line well and provided thoughtful recommendations, suggesting starting with two units rather than pushing for three like I initially planned. His estimate was reasonable and competitive. The Installation: The crew (JR, Willie & Jessie) installed two Aprilaire 720A automatic humidifiers. The installation included water supply routing from my laundry closet, drainage connections to existing condensate systems, and outdoor temperature sensors for automatic humidity compensation. Service Recovery: During installation, the crew encountered wiring complexity with my multi-zone system and had to adjust placement from first floor to second floor. In the process, my thermostat was throwing an error code. When I discovered this after they left, Brian from Elm Air not only listened to my voicemail after-hours, but called me back immediately, and came back with the lead tech that same evening to fix it at no charge. This kind of responsive service recovery is rare and much appreciated. Results: The system exceeded expectations. Within 24 hours, humidity rose from 25% to 35-45% across all three floors. The automatic outdoor temperature compensation is working perfectly. Bottom Line: Elm Air combined technical expertise, fair pricing, honest recommendations, and exceptional service recovery. Scott's knowledge and his team's responsiveness set them apart. Highly recommended for complex HVAC projects where expertise really matters.
