- MRMK Roland5 days ago1.0Don’t use Emerald Heating unless you’re prepared to lose 3 days of work while they screw around staffing your install. They were big on promises and short on delivery. I bought a new furnace, air conditioner and tankless water heater. The salesman assured me it could be installed in one day. When the install day came they had only two installers and except for John, the second person seemed to come and go as often as my dogs like to go out when they’re bored. I was not kept apprised and VOILA! At the end of a late day I was told too bad so sad they didn’t even come close to getting everything finished. They said they would return the next day to finish the indoor work and install the air conditioner. The next day ONE TECHNICIAN showed. After they refused to let me speak with the owner (« you don’t want to — he’s not good with people. We don’t let him talk to anyone »), I sent the technician away because he clearly couldn’t finish the job in 1 more day. Now it went over the weekend into another week!! Monday they sent 2 technicians and it took them ALL DAY. Clearly they knew they were never going to do the install in one day and lied to sell the job and understaffed the install. My tankless water heater takes forever to warm up the water so whatever I’m saving in energy I’m wasting in water. I was told that would « clear up with a few days of use. ». Another lie. Remember: Don’t use Emerald Heating unless you’re prepared to lose 3 days of work while they screw around staffing your install and don’t believe a thing they tell you. Well, except the owner is so crude he’s not allowed to speak with customers!!

Mike the service technician from Emerald came out and checked the furnace. He identified the bad part but a new replacement wasn’t available. He went back to the shop and found a part that would work, installed it. Because we are getting a new furnace he gave us the part on consignment (no cost), and a reduced service charge. Emerald goes all out to ensure customer comfort and satisfaction. It is my new go to HVAC home. Thank e.

No pressure just empathy and facts. I decided to go with a new unit and again, the salesman was at my house within 10 mins. No hard sell, just facts. They installed a new unit and the tech that did the installation was great. What a great company and people. Can’t speak highly of all the people I dealt with. The accounting people that helped me finance the unit were great too. Highly recommend.

I had a coupon for a furnace tune-up and they honored it even though they couldn't get me an appt until after the coupon expired. They sent a reminder text the day before to confirm the appt and Travis, the technician, called 20 min before he showed up, within the 2 hour appt window. In addition, I received a text message with a photo of Travis so I could confirm his identity before letting him in my home! I really appreciated this additional step to protect the customer. Travis was very professional and efficient. When he completed the tune-up, he discussed his findings and laid out some options for me to consider in the future. There was no hard sell to upgrade or to sign up for additional services. I'm quite impressed with the entire experience and will definitely contact Emerald again for any heating or plumbing needs. Emerald is a quality company and I highly recommend them.
