- AMAndrew MoreiraApr 16, 20251.0Similar to a review left by another customer, I also arrived 15 minutes to closing time on a Wednesday except I wasn’t treated as nicely. Upon walking in, the lady with glasses who was working the front desk, I believe her name might’ve been Linda, gave me a bad attitude from the start and asked why I walked in and she also said they were closed although it was 3:45pm. Their hours show they close at 4pm which is what I stated to her and she completely disregarded that. I even told her I spoke with another employee on the phone who knew I was coming to which she said “well he’s not here” as if that would get me to leave and give up. She was so upset I showed up that she said out loud “I knew I should’ve locked the door.” It was very clear she wanted to get out at work at 4pm on the dot and got angry that a customer could potentially interfere with that. When I walked in there she acted as if I was at fault and should feel ashamed. I have to say this is very unprofessional and not a good look for White Cap who’s a large and reputable material supplier. Keep this in mind if you show up later than 3:30pm since all of us construction guys work until 2-3pm and try our best to get materials for our jobs before suppliers close for the day. I was amazed on how she treated me as a customer and I needed to write this.

I figure since Friday they left early. I was wrong an employee I believe name was Leroy D must've been working alone so had the door locked while loading another customer around back. He must've noticed me on camera and came outside to ask me if he can help. He handled my issues that I really needed taken care of. A true gentleman!!! The Industry needs more workers like Leroy. We've been customers of Kenseal over 30 years granted they're now White Cap but I'll stick with going to the Commack location now!! Thank you Leroy and White Cap!!! A++++++++++++++
