  In this past July “24”, I had contracted and scheduled with another paving company. My next door neighbor had contracted with United Asphalt (unknown to me). United came and worked their driveway till nearly 10pm correcting my neighbors base issues. Then completed paving the next morning. After witnessing United employees work I called my contractor and cancelled, and followed with a call to United Asphalt for an estimate. We agreed on a price and scheduled. Well United didn’t disappoint. In fact I had draining issues and the foreman contacted the owner of United who came over and went above and beyond to mitigate my issues and made a seamless draining system. I didn’t meet him personally but want to Thank him with this review. I am not a writer, I don’t normally do reviews but felt I had to in this case. Thank You all for your professional hard work.   I never knew our driveway could look so good! Laura, the accounting manager, was a delight to deal with. While we had to delay the project due to challenges of staffing during COVID, she remained in touch and accountable. The crew that worked on our driveway was professional and meticulous. We've already been informed of the ongoing follow-up they are committed to regarding seal coating. Pricing was reasonable. Also, of six contacts I made for quotes, they were the ONLY ones that responded, and within 24-hours. I would highly recommend them!

  I was hopeful about this company after searching around the capital region for some quotes to replace my driveway. They responded right away, got me a quote within a day, and were one of the most affordable. I agreed to have them perform the work, although it was late in the season and I knew there was a chance they could not fit me in. However, I soon heard nothing about scheduling. After reaching out myself, I was given a tentative date several months away. When it got closer, someone from the company texted me to say they would let me know by the end of the day if they could schedule me. I never heard - checked in with them days later, and was again told they would get back to me by the end of the day. Never heard anything. At that point I knew it was probably too late in the season as the temperatures dropped, but no one ever communicated this. I waited until the spring to reach out again, was given another tentative date, and then heard nothing. The date came and went and no one has reached out to me at all (and it has been a couple of months). I get that there is variability in scheduling this type of work depending on weather. But this company just seems to be a no show. I wish they had been more clear if they did not want this project so I could have gone with another company to complete the work.
