I had TripleO install the HVAC system in my brand-new home about four years ago. It was a large, expensive job, and the way it was handled was unacceptable.
Right after they finished the install, I discovered they left my attic full of garbage — wood chips, zip ties, scraps of ducting, tape, dust, insulation, and general construction debris. For a brand-new home, that level of sloppiness was outrageous. I also discovered that they left debris and trash inside all of the ductwork below our floor vents. To say they were lazy and careless would be an understatement.
Fast-forward four years, and I finally figured out why the second floor of my house has always had stale, unpleasant air. After digging into the system myself, I discovered that the ERV ventilation system - the system they strongly recommended and sold me on as being essential for a tight, well-insulated new home - had been installed incorrectly. The ducting does not match how the unit is labeled or how an ERV is supposed to be connected, which explains why it has not been functioning properly this entire time.
An ERV is not exotic equipment. The ports are clearly labeled by the manufacturer. Any competent HVAC company should know how to connect it correctly. The fact that I had to uncover this myself years later is beyond frustrating.
Yes, I should have caught this sooner, and my builder should have checked it. But that does not excuse an HVAC contractor leaving a brand-new attic full of trash and installing a ventilation system in a way that doesn’t work.
I paid tens of thousands of dollars for this HVAC work. What I got was sloppy workmanship, a filthy attic, and four years of bad air upstairs. Now I’m stuck fixing it myself.
I would never recommend TripleO to anyone who cares about quality, cleanliness, or professional installation.

Where to start?
I have 3 rental properties enrolled in the membership plan. Absolutely not worth it. I had to call back 6 times over 3 months to schedule the “free system service” they offer with memberships. Of course they found ways to nickel and dime me there.
The “waived service fees” with the memberships doesn’t cover weekend or holiday calls. I’ll make sure to tell my furnace and water heaters not to need service on those days.
A simple blocked drain call resulted in:
Trip 1: cut out pipe not anywhere near the clog and claimed it drained well. It did not…. $400
Trip 2: Tried to snake the main drain but couldn’t do it and still charged $500. cut out more of same pipe, drilled though a finished basement wall and ran the waste water into a clean ground water sump pump. Not legal code at all. Said it worked and also put in notes that I was responsible for any damage they made in the reroute. It still was not fixed and now I had waste water clogging my sump and spewing all over my front yard…. Still charged $1500 with a straight face.
Trip 3: said it was ok going into the sump yet rerouted back for free anyway? Snaked the main again but this time “got it” and only charged me $250! Such a deal.
Trip 4: backed up same place same issue but now I’m being charged for extra travel time because their tech lives far away AND said the trip and snake will be over $500. I declined.
Trip 5: to the BBB and attorney general. Then calling a real plumber.
I’m over 2500 in to a simple snake project with a busted sump and holes drilled all through my home, not to mention the year of monthly membership fees.
Inconsistent pricing, shotty work, no accountability. I’ve been in the property management business for over a decade and I’ve never encountered this much incompetence. I’m waiting on a “manager” to call back but I’m sure I’ll have to “call again to remind them” as per the answering service receptionist.
TRIPLE OH, NO!

I was told on New Years eve I had a frozen pipe on the upper zone of my 3 zone boiler. I was told that zone was isolated, but when it burst that evening, the water wouldn't stop! I couldn't reach anyone New Years Day until I tried Triple-O. They got someone out at 10:30 PM. He had to shut down the boiler to stop the water, but they were right back out the next morning to fix the breaks and
and get the heat back on! I can't say enough good things about their emergency service on New Years day!

Kyle was fantastic! Really friendly and once he knew I knew a little more than the average woman about the whole house humidifier he spoke to me as an equal l. I very much appreciate that. He required our humidifier and also replaced the solinoid as it was not working. The solinoid part is about $20 but Triple O marks it way up and with the cost of labor, just the solinoid replacement was $150. With the cost of the initial rewiring, $240 it was a $400 day. All in all Triple O is quality and the folks who come to the house are all fantastic but $400 for a simple rewire and solinoid replacement seems excessive to me.
