  You must use them!!! My parents had a wonderful experience with this company. Alan came out to fix a problem that another company count not fix. Alan was so kind and lovely. Very professional. We highly recommend them. 5 Stars!!!!

  I've used Robert Spano Plumbing for over eight (8) years and have never been disappointed. Excellent work and service at reasonable prices. Whether it's a big (Boiler and hot water heater replaced) or small (Leaky pipe) job, you receive the same professionalism, courtesy and high standard of service. Recently I needed a clog drained, an outside spigot replaced, and an indoor spigot fixed. Everything was completed in a timely fashion with no problems. I highly recommend Robert Spano Plumbing.

  They are all about the money, not about customer retention and satisfaction. Our tankless hot water heater had issues and was not working. After hearing that Spano Plumbing and Heating of Bedford Hills, NY was “the best” and a “reputable company”, I scheduled a service call through Jon. The plumber that they had sent to us gave us incorrect information about having to shut off certain water valves that did not need to be (not as a precaution, but because he was wrong). I was not impressed with the plumber’s knowledge, or lack thereof, but overall, he was fine. After being told that we needed a new unit, we did our own research, as well as asked Jon for his professional input. He recommended brands based on their warranties and reliability. We compared units, and he even went as far as saying that the Navien brand that he was recommending “has the best warranty I’ve seen”, and a “fifteen-year limited heat exchanger? You NEVER see THAT!”  Nearly every single warranty for tankless water heaters offers that same exact warranty that he described as "a great deal." I truly believe that Jon was hoping that he was dealing with naive people that he could take advantage of. Thankfully, I always do my research. If I hadn’t done my research and pricing, Jon would have had another customer convinced with his little sales-pitch on the warranties offered by the tankless heater companies. I don't appreciate his sales pitch or trying to con or when a salesperson plays dumb about information that they are very familiar with. I asked him to compose an estimate for me, and he did a part, plus labor estimate. “Labor & Material: $4,900” I asked him for a more specific estimate, in order to do a breakdown of cost(s), so he then provided me with a second vague estimate: “Labor: $1,500 / Material: $3,400”. I then asked Jon if Spano Plumbing and Heating offered a military or law enforcement discount, to which he responded, “Umm… Nah, we don’t.” I am happy to know that they lack appreciation of civil service members. After speaking with several other local acquaintances, they advised me that Spano Plumbing and Heating is the MOST expensive in the area. They are good, but not worth the extra money. I agree with that opinion. The plumbing industry already has a standard 55% + profit on materials. In the end, I received a bill for a service call in the amount of $211.33. Thank you for your service, and it was a pleasure to not do business with Spano Plumbing and Heating.
