  I called SK electric last minute in a snowstorm. I lost heat and my plumber couldn’t fix it, another electrician couldn’t fix it. Steve and Carlos came with a smile, happy to help and fixed my problem within 20 minutes! I’m really grateful and thankful for them. I can’t recommend them enough!

  Needed an outlet installed in a bathroom for a heated towel rack that was a christmas gift for my wife, so I called in November and scheduled them to come on a Tuesday for what should be a very simple install. They called back and said the owner wanted to come the day before and check it out. Owner comes and he doesn't believe the towel rack only uses 130 watts (as stated on the product webpage), and he wanted me to confirm when it arrived, which it did the next morning when they were supposed to show up. They then no-called, no-showed the day of install and said "they were expecting me to call them back" despite having them scheduled to come already. They weren't able to fit the work in before the next week when we had to leave the country for work, so what should have been a simple 1 hour outlet install for a nice christmas gift never happened. While the owner was here I asked about getting an NEMA 14-50 installed for a car charger and other uses. He said that central hudson "required" 400amp service be installed for car chargers, and since I only had 200amp service, I'd need to spend around $10,000 upgrading because he "didn't want to lose his license". Upon reading the Central Hudson Blue Book and contacting multiple offices there (including the "Electric Car Group", I was able to confirm there is no such requirement that exists). Can't speak for the quality of the work since they never did any, but he either doesn't know the electrical local code, or didn't want to do either of these jobs because they weren't profitable enough. Either way, it's worth avoiding this company.

  Let me start by saying wow! I’ve used electricians in the past and never have I had this kind of an experience. They were extremely punctual, professional, asked if they should take their shoes off! They took my concerns seriously, went above and beyond to check every outlet, every light switch, every single thing that I asked to check, regardless of how menial, they did not stop until they found the problem. Then they even offered me a solution to a problem that was way less than what I had expected to pay, which made me Trust them even more because I am somebody who knows absolutely nothing about electrical or anything for that matter and they could have completely shot any price at me and I wouldn’t have known the difference. Needless to say, I am extremely satisfied and I feel like I have a lifelong partner for all of my electrical needs! Oh and I will definitely be telling my family and friends
