Sitzman's Appliance Center is a family-owned third-generation business that started in 1946 by Edward and Genny Sitzman. Skip and Shirley Sitzman took over operations in 1994 when they moved from the small shop to a larger storefront. As the business kept growing, Scott and Barbara Sitzman took over in 2007 at a brand new showroom and warehouse on Broadway in Alden. We are proud to say we take care of our customers from the beginning to the end. Our knowledgeable sales staff will show our customers the new products that are available, as well as schedule service calls with our certified technicians if a repair is preferred. We are a PowerPro Elite Dealer with Generac and our showroom is displayed with the newest Generac products as well as the Whirlpool products that we are happy to say are "Made In The USA!" We stock generators and parts for those that prefer to install or fix the product themselves.

They charge $75 for delivery and old appliance removal which is 50% more than the Big Box stores but worth the investment in local businesses.

A couple years ago, they installed the wrong appliance and when I spoke with the manager of the place, he lacked customer service etiquette and wasn't willing to rectify their mistake. It cost me extra to have them come back and do the job the right way!
