  Roger gave us a quote to replace a sliding glass door. He was on time, very friendly, knowledgeable and gave us a very fair quote! We appreciated his honesty and would highly recommend him!

  I am disappointed in the many thousands of dollars spent for two (large) windows. We told the salesperson we did not need or want double hung windows. They told us it was our only option. After installation that added an unattractive quarter round molding piece- which they did tell us they’d have to do- we realized the screens provided only cover the bottom half of the windows! What’s the point of having a more expensive window that can be pulled down from the top if the screen doesn’t cover the top? We live where bugs are prevalent half the year and there are of course animals that could enter our home that way. I feel that Comfort Windows sells you these windows as the only option to charge more, but then shorts you on the screens. I’m angry and wonder if they could’ve sold us single hung windows but didn’t reveal that. I was very vocal about wanting a cheaper option and not needing the double hung windows; I’ll never use the functionality of it. Wondering if there’s recourse for this as I write this.

  I thought I would go through a reputable company to provide a quote on siding and new windows. Completed the form on line and next step was to be contacted. This didn’t happen and I scheduled a tentative date. If they don’t work in VT, that would have been nice to know. Don’t recommend this company but hey if you live in NY maybe you have a better chance of service from this company.

  We’ve now worked with Comfort Windows and Doors on two projects at our home in Johnstown, NY, and our experience has been excellent from start to finish. Tim August has been our salesperson both times, and he truly stands out - professional, personable, and never pushy. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes the process feel easy and low-pressure, which we really appreciated. Our dining room window installation was smooth and efficient, and the end result is beautiful. The quality of the work and attention to detail really showed. We’re now moving forward with a much larger project - replacing 66 additional windows - and Tim, along with his manager Joe, has been great in helping us secure a fair and competitive price for such a big job. Overall, a trustworthy team, high-quality work, and a great customer experience. Highly recommend.
