  Lucas and his staff were incredible. But first, the story as to why. Through no fault of their own, about 25% of the stain they used in reconditioning our floor was improperly mixed. There's no way of knowing this until after the stain is down and cured, which we found to our chagrin after we returned home from vacation, during which was when they redid the floor. For a short bit my wife and I thought we were going crazy because the tint was so much lighter on 1/4 of the floor. Was it the lighting? No. Was it us? Probably not. Was it the workmanship? Nah, couldn't be. Turns out it was the materials, so in a stroke of mastery the floor crew returned, re-sanded the floor, deftly blended a special batch of stain to match the other 75% of the floor, and made it seamless. So, not only were we thoroughly happy with the end product, the hiccup in between could have gone VERY sideways but instead they simply owned the mistake that wasn't even theirs, fixed it, and did so professionally and efficiently. Getting what you pay for is one thing, but the ability to correct mistakes without excuses is something else entirely. I will never go anywhere else.

  I know, I know....AND, this place DESERVES five stars! Communication was great and constant, staff were courteous and professional from workers to office staff, and the price was beyond reasonable for the excellent job they did! Would definitely use them again! If you need your floors refinished, do yourself a favor and let these pros do the work!! I will NEVER be able to thank these folks enough for the amazing job they did! Picture details: (Second picture is before they started, picture with blue tape is them showing us the stain to approve and other two pics are after. They came out SO BEAUTIFUL!!)

  I would use Northern Nevada Hardwood Floors again in a heartbeat. They were very accommodating and I was even able to move my appointment up after a cancelation and they worked with me on splitting up the payment with the adjustment of the timeline. I only did refinishing as the hardwood was already installed under the carpet. Even with years of pets and stains in the floors, you can't even tell there were any marks from before. The quality of work is superb, I get compliments every time someone walks through the door. There were even damages from an old stair chair screwed into the hardwood and it is barely visible that there were holes in the floor before. Also- there were some spots of filler that spilled onto my porch that I reached out to them about. They had someone come out to clean it up right away. It is water soluble, so they could have had me try to wash it off but they still sent someone out to help clean it up. They are truly an amazing company.

  Raul from Northern Nevada Hardwood Floors just refinished our hard- wood floors in the great room. Raul did an incredible job! He is consciousness and detail oriented.We are estactic that our hardwood floors looks like new! My wife and I highly recommend this company. Sincerely, Jim
