BEWARE! As a senior female homeowner, I sought advice from my insurance company for damage caused by Johnny-on-the-Spot's workmanship. Johnny-on-the-Spot agreed to repair the damage. An assessment was made, and remediation work was scheduled. Kudos. As a senior female, I contacted my home insurance provider to seek advice. Well, Johnny-on-the-Spot was NOT happy with that. They responded by reneging on the agreed remediation. They retaliated by walking away and refusing to repair the damage they caused! They left my home in an "unfinished" construction-like shamble!! BEWARE!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Johnny On the Spot for routine A/C maintenance, a plasma air upgrade, and duct cleaning services, and couldn't be happier with the experience! Bryant and Cassey were absolutely fantastic. They were professional, and took the time to explain each step of the process. Which left us feeling confident in their work throughout. The duct cleaning service was thorough and efficient, leaving our system cleaner and running more smoothly than ever. We appreciate their attention to detail ensuring everything was done right. Overall, we highly recommend them for any HVAC needs. Bryan and Cassey made the entire process seamless and efficient. Thank you for your excellent service!

DO NOT USE FOR WATER SOFTENER OR REVERSE OSMOSIS INSTALLATION I had an extremely unprofessional and costly experience with Johnny on the Spot. I paid $1,907 for the installation of a water softener and reverse osmosis system (equipment I already owned), and the job was mishandled from start to finish. • Day 1: Technician Oscar arrived but didn’t have the proper parts and had to return the next day. • Day 2: Installation finished around 7:30 p.m. That same night at 9:30 p.m., my leak detector went off. Water was pouring out under the kitchen sink because the reverse osmosis line had disconnected from the faucet. Their advertised 24-hour service connected me to an AI system(not a real person) and scheduled me for the next day. • Visit 3: Technician returned to reconnect the system. • Visit 4 (Nov 12): My kitchen sink clogged. We discovered the reverse osmosis drain line had been installed incorrectly and was blocking the pipe (see picture). A manager named Johnny sent another technician, Shaun, who was dismissive and seemed annoyed despite this being their fourth attempt to fix their own installation. For nearly $2,000, I expected a competent, professional job. Instead, I experienced repeated installation errors, a late-night water leak, a clogged sink, and unprofessional attitude. I will never use Johnny on the Spot again and do not recommend them for any plumbing installation.

My whole ex experience with Johnny on the spots plumbing was fantastic. I kept getting annoying letters from the water company saying I had a meter running. They finally directed me to the website for accredited detection services and I reached out to three of them. Johnny’s responded within 15 minutes and directed me how to get a voucher for detection services. I was scheduled within 24 hours and Jeff arrived on time with auto notices. He was professional, walked me through each and every step he was taking and diagnosed It was a pool float. He was very reassuring that the fix was fairly easy and did not appear that the rest of my infrastructure was at risk. Can’t speak more highly of the administrative side of the service or the inspection itself! Plus, it’s a really cool name for any type of home service! Thank you again For the responsiveness and the great service

::: Update::: I’m still baffled because when I started explaining it and told the girl on the phone that it was about an RV she had no plans to stop me to tell me that y’all don’t have any idea about RVs and let me go on and on about it. Wasting my time and obviously frustrating me enough to leave this. I’m baffled because when I called and spoke to the person/woman that answered the phone. It was like I wasn’t calling an #RVrepair place because it was like the outdoor faucet and shower head was completely foreign into her. I called asking if they were parts and service or just Service because I needed a faucet and shower head for the outside situation. Obviously that would mean I need both and that became another part of the conversation later for no reason. I also told her that I was traveling from San Diego here to #LasVegas and when I gave her my address after she asked in San Diego. She had to tell me that she was here in Las Vegas when I had literally said that I was already here. It was like talking to somebody that has no plans of paying attention to anything you’re saying while trying to run a business. I didn’t even get to tell her that I was a #disabledveteran and then I’d probably be traveling all the way around the country back to San Diego which would include going all the way to Tampa. Unfortunately, we never got that far because I can only take so much of somebody that doesn’t care. I owned a business for 22 years and would have never let somebody answer my phones like this.

Frequently Asked Questions About Johnny On The Spot

What is the SEER rating?

The SEER (seasonal energy efficiency ratio) is how the efficiency of your heating and cooling equipment is measured. The SEER is the amount of cooling your system will deliver per dollar spent on electricity, as compared to other systems. For example, a 3-ton unit may have a SEER efficiency rating of 13, 14, or 15. The higher the SEER the more efficient the system will be. The SEER rating of any given unit can range anywhere from 13 to 21.

How can I prevent clogged drains?

Avoid pouring grease, coffee grounds, or large food particles down the drain. Use drain screens to catch hair and debris in sinks and tubs. Regularly flushing drains with hot water can also help.
