Cisco from Canyon Plumbing did a fantastic job today! He fixed our leaky kitchen faucet quickly and was incredibly helpful. He even educated us on product warranties and how to maintain our P-traps to avoid future issues. Professional, efficient, and educational. 5 stars!

I specifically searched for a local, veteran-owned business because I wanted to support one in our area. We called for service because we genuinely did not have the time or resources to handle the issue ourselves. When booking, I understood there was a $69 estimate/service fee, and I was fully prepared to pay that. I also understood that this fee would be credited toward the final bill if the total exceeded that amount. However, during my follow-up conversation with the owner, he stated that if they only charged the $69 fee they would lose money, and that service calls are usually $200–$300. The biggest issue was lack of transparency and lack of customer approval. I was not given clear pricing or options before work was completed. I was presented with the option to replace a part that was still working (due to smell). After looking it up, I saw the part was around $6 at Home Depot, so even with upcharging I expected something closer to a $25 addition. I should have asked cost, but as a customer I also should have been PRESENTED information. When I was presented with a final bill of $260, you can understand my shock. Thankfully, I had a credit card I could use, but what if that bill had been $600 or $900? I was never given a voice in whether I wanted to proceed at that price point. I asked for an itemized invoice because I wanted to see the labor rate, the cost of parts, where the $69 credit was applied, and where the advertised 10% military discount was applied. I was told, “our company doesn’t do this.” That felt like a major red flag, and it did not help rebuild trust. The owner did admit we were not given the military discount their Google listing advertises, but they did not offer to apply or refund it. During the call, the owner also stated the technician was at my home for an hour, not including drive time. However, the technician was already in our area (which I appreciated because it got us on the schedule quickly), and the time spent at my home was approximately 26 minutes, including work and providing a quote for a water softener. I have timestamps from my Ring doorbell. The owner’s proposed resolution was to send the technician back out to continue troubleshooting the issue that was not resolved on the first visit, “free of charge.” While I appreciate the offer, it does not correct the original problem… which was being billed $260 without transparency or informed approval. After the conversation with the owner, we cancelled the follow-up appointment and decided to discontinue service with the company. I gave 48 hours and multiple opportunities prior to sharing our review for the owner to correct the situation, but that did not happen. I clearly stated I wanted to leave a good review, but that did not seem to matter to this business. The technician himself was professional and I have no negative feelings toward him. My review is strictly based on management, pricing transparency, and accountability.

If I could give 0 stars, i definitely would! Horrible communication, they set one price to begin with and claim they run into other issues and up the price. Would not recommend them to anyone.

I requested via email a quote for a new toilet for my home. I promptly received from Customer Service Manager Erika Mendoza a quote including pdf spec sheets for the tank and bowl. I spent the next month or so doing research on other plumbers, toilet brands, features, pricing, etc. I made some revisions to my request and sent those to Canyon Plumbing. Again, I received a prompt reply with a quote and spec sheets from Ms. Mendoza. Another month or so passed before I finally decided to make the purchase from Canyon Plumbing. The installation was scheduled within a few days of my purchase. When Fernando, the installer, arrived, he listened politely and intently as I described some concerns and special requests, with which he complied. The installation was clean and professional, and he was obviously experienced. My existing toilet was more than 40 years old. The flush rate was about 3.3 gallons per flush (gpf). New toilets today are limited to a maximum 1.6 gpf, so that was a big concern for me. I chose a Kohler Wellworth toilet with 1.6 gpf, and I'm very impressed so far with its performance. I'll spare you the details, but I can say that it easily managed flushes that would have clogged my old toilet. It flushes very quickly and quietly. We'll see how it's doing in 40 years. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Canyon Plumbing. I don't expect perfection, but I appreciate those who strive toward perfection. Both Ms. Mendoza and Fernando did that. I would totally recommend Canyon Plumbing for anyone who needs good, professional, reliable plumbing services.
