  Hello, my name is Jeff. I had Jeremy from A1 garage come out to my house today! He just finished installing a bunch of stuff on my garage (new motors, new springs, the whole nine) and let me tell you…the man needs a GENEROUS raise!!! He’s a great mechanic. I don’t even know the guy, so if you think that I’m saying this because I know him…I don’t, but I can tell you, he absolutely did an excellent job. He even completed everything quickly (for what was required) and stayed extra hours to finish it. So anyway, five stars all the way AND if you guys need somebody great…ASK FOR Jeremy!!!

  Steven was great! Excellent service from start to finish. While the price felt a bit on the higher side, the quality of work truly showed and you get what you pay for. Steven replaced my garage door opener and mechanism quickly and professionally, and everything works perfectly. He was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to explain how the new opener works and answer all my questions. He also left the area clean and tidy.

  Andrew Black from A1 was an absolute pro from start to finish. He came out to check my door, took the time to measure everything carefully, reviewed the weight and alignment, and explained what was going on in a way that actually made sense — no mumbo jumbo, no rushing, just old-school craftsmanship energy. He was professional, respectful, and most importantly… he sent the estimate the same day. In a world where people vanish like bad Wi-Fi, Andrew showed up and followed through. If you’re looking for someone who treats your door like it’s guarding a medieval castle, Andrew’s your guy. Solid work, solid vibes, zero stress.

  I had my garage door installed in 2023, and the wired wall mounted remote recently stopped working - complete loss of power to the unit which is supplied from the opener assembly. When the technician came out he failed to address my concerns and spent an inordinate amount of time theorizing what could be the problem - all of them not on point. His first theory indicated that because I have a GFCI outlet on the wall that it could be contributing to the problem - even though the garage door opener is on a different dedicated outlet. He went on futher to indicate that the battery backup unit would still open and close the garage and operate the camera/light but seemed to indicate that the remote being dark was not an issue (the manufacturer has since confirmed that the remote is also powered by the battery backup. He also indicated that there could be a short in the two wir circuit between the opener and the remote but did not bother to put a meter on the remote or test for continuity between the opener and the remote. After texting with his manager he indicated that the remote could be replaced if they are on site when the problem occurs - even though the problem is intermittant and resets if I use the wireless remote in the vehicle. At first, they wanted me to pay to have it replaced even though the garage door has a 5 year warranty - A1 claims that a wired remote is an assesory - not part of the garage door assembly. I stated that because it is a wired remote and standard with any opener purchase it is not an assesory. They left saying if the problem happens again and they can see it occuring on site, they would be willing to replace it under the warranty. Not likely as the problem resets it self and the clock shows 12 noon all the time indicating the remote was reset. To add to my frustration, the tect charged me the $59 service feee and did nothing to investigate the reported problem - but he did place A1 company stickers on the wall by the remote and on the garage door. There are better places to get service after the sale from a company other than this one who seems to have lost their sense of doing the right thing and appreciation for their customers. If you are looking for a new garage door or service for your existing one, you would do better going somewhere else! There is no value for their service after the sale.

  My mom‘s garage door wasn’t opening, so we called A1 to come out. They sent a technician the same day, within a few hours even. Steven was our technician and he was the best! So friendly, so accommodating and very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He repaired the garage door and installed the spring and did some other things to make sure my mom was safe with her garage door! Such a relief and a truly great experience with Steven. My mom was very grateful! We will definitely be using this company for all of our garage door needs. 10/10 recommend!
