- GGGolnar2 days ago1.0Called them for toilet running and effecting the water pressure in the house. He came on time and adjusted the water level on 4 of the units by turning the little nubs took about 2 minutes for each toilet, which was really not what was causing the water pressure problem. The problem was with 2 units that have the Flushmate high pressure system. He wasn’t sure how to diagnose the problem and said he will talk to someone in the office and send an email with his recommendation. The recommendations were to change the whole Flushmate tank or change the toilet as a whole. The cost from over $1500 to $8000. Was charged $410 for this visit Just for diagnosing the problem and adjusting the water level. Did not get a receipt. Since I got a little suspicious of over pricing I did a little research on line. I found out: -The Flushmate tanks are supposed to last 30 years and hardly ever need replacement. -the problem with running water is the bad cartridge that might need to be changed every 4 to 5 years. Cost $40 for replacement cartridg and I can do it myself. After I called them with my finding, they send another technician to confirm that. Big surprise he confirmed the problem was the cartridge. However to justify their quote he said, well there is a possibility that the toilet might leak in 4 or 5 years and to replace it now it can save us in the future. I take spending $80 verse $8000 for a possible future problem!

Best of all he carefully explained measures I could take in the future so that I could save a call to the plumber. He also did a professional job installing a new kitchen faucet.

On short notice, they came out on a Friday and replaced the valve on Sunday. Very much appreciated getting it done over the weekend as we had to travel back to our home in the SF Bay Area. They were very professional and organized. I highly recommend them and will utilize their services again when needed.

This was crucial because we had no working toilets. He was efficient, communicative, and professional. It took six hours for a total clean out 75 feet to the street. We were glad to receive the repair but are still waiting to receive an itemized bill to see what cost almost $5,000.
