  Great company, wonderful employees! We had 2 combo HVACs installed (heating and refrigerated air). From start to finish, it was been an exceptional experience. The staff was friendly, professional, accommodating, knowledgeable and respectful. We knew up front what to expect - timeframe, cost, process, "possible hiccups that may ensue secondary to a 35 year old home". I obtained two quotes and B. Carlson matched their competitor's pricing (actually, they beat the competitor far and away) - as the quality of HVAC system was by far superior with B. Carlson - "Carrier units - top of the line in the industry". I did my research and due diligence to find the "right company" and the "right system". We are very happy with our units (thus far) and the incredible service provided by B. Carlson. The follow up (loose ends) has also been exceptional. We would like to commend the following employees for their outstanding efforts: Nick (initial contact) - He gave us our initial quote, he was wonderful in every way - answered my myriad of questions with confidence and competence. Install crew: J.J. - Foreman - he was on the jobsite much of the time during the 3 day install; he was great - very knowledgeable and a humble mentor to his crew; Josh (crew leader) - he was spectacular. He faced a few challenges with the install and came up with a game plan to make it happen through collaborative, team work. Mikey and Milo were apprentices and were also excellent. They both will be great Journeyman. Also notable, that they kept my house in good order (cleaned up after themselves daily) and were respectful of our home. I highly recommend B. Carlson. I'm so glad I went with them. Thank you everyone for such a great experience. Oh, I would be amiss if I didn't thank the office staff - they two were exceptional - we were kept abreast the entire time on when the guys would arrive, etc. Thank you to the "Electrician's and Boom lift operator" also - wonderful!

  The water heater always goes out on a weekend when it's going tobe harder to get serviced. Ours rusted out on the bottom right before Easter and we needed it fixed quickly. Barney showed up within 30 minutes of my online inquiry and was able to get it taken care of quickly. We appreciated the fast service and having it done in the same day.

  Cimarron was courteous and even put on disposable boot covers to keep our house clean. He was set up to drain the tank but discovered it was not draining possibly due to calcium buildup. He described the possible causes for our water heater leak and estimated the cost of replacement. We were able to get a less expensive estimate so will not be having B. Carlson do the replacement. We paid just for his diagnostic visit.

  We had B. Carlson come out for an AC tune-up and overall had a good experience. The technicians were professional, on time, and explained everything clearly. They cleaned the unit, replaced worn insulation, and repaired some damaged wiring, and everything is now running properly. They did present higher-priced options at first, but were respectful when we chose to stick with only the necessary work. I appreciated that they completed the service thoroughly and made sure the system was operating correctly before leaving. Overall, I’d recommend them for their professionalism and quality of work. Just be sure to ask questions and understand your options so you can choose what makes sense for your home.

  You make your own judgment. Scheduled an appointment with B.Carlson a week in advance for March 18,2026. They changed my time from 12-2:30 PM to 8 AM, then never showed up. after waiting over an hour, I called the office instead of apologizing, I was told they don't recommend Turning on the AC until April and that I'd be responsible if the pipes froze. When I asked why they made the appointment if they weren't going to show up, I was interrupted and given unacceptable excuses. Then I was told they could maybe send someone later. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. I canceled and will use someone else. PS) When I asked for their office address, She told me to "google it". So here I am googling! Contractors need to understand we also work and have to wait for them half a day, This needs to be changed. Bad practice. Yes we will give you 20 minutes before showing up. Oh Please. ABQ, NM
