Repairs that I requested were performed. More were suggested but at a high cost. Everything was checked before plumber & apprentice left. Toilet tank parts replaced and new nut and gasket replaced under vanity sink. But I checked again and saw a leak under my bathroom vanity where they replaced a rusted gasket/bolt. I managed to catch them before they left. They came back in and tightened the bolt and no leak since then. They were professional and through. Wish they would have performed the drain clog. I am still waiting to get resolved. As the drain tech. did not solve. A second plumber was called in but was unsure why? He asked me! The drain tech. Did not advise he was leaving and never came back! He told us he was going to get something to drink! The second plumber came and did not do anything except look at everything. There was no initial communication between the two. We have been waiting for someone to come with a camera snake to locate clog. We are not making random cuts in our ceiling! Told we were on schedule NY Day??? As you work 365 days year! No show. Called cust. service. Told we were on the schedule and tech would call. Never came or call recv'd. Still waiting. We are into day three for our cry for help. We only have one shower/bathroom that has been clogged over a week! Need more than a "drain tech". Preferably someone with years of experience under his belt. They are not dealing with a newer house here! Not textbook or easy peasy job. The plumber that came to fix my other issues said he was qualified to deal with my clog.I would have preferred he did everything. Weather he had a camera snake, I do not know? Sending different people to handle different jobs is frustrating. It is eating up my holiday vacation if they are not able to handle the job. I am running out of time to resolve this. I go back to work Monday 1/5/26. I am loosing faith that your younger tech's can complete the job at hand.I have the HHH plan but am far from Happy at this time. 😞

When I gave my first review, I gave a very good one. But my opinion has changed. They were very attentive at first, but they had to come back several times, and although I kept requesting the same person, they kept trying to send someone else. The guy working on my heater was very nice but I did place a call to the Service Manager Salvatore Foglia because I kept getting conflicting information about who and when someone would be at my house. They said Sal didn't have a direct line (which is a lie because he is the Manager). They took a message. It's been two weeks and Sal still has not given me the courtesy of returning my call. (I guess since they have my several thousand dollars, he doesn't want to be bothered). Also, when the guy finally fixed my heater (even though now its making a clunking noise) he said how about if we call it even. I was very happy with that since I had already paid a couple thousand dollars. I thought that was really great customer service since they had been out to my house about 4 times and I had been without heat for over a month while they tried to figure the problem out but was still charging me. Well I got a bill for the balance. I didn't understand since I was told we would just call it even. So I called the guy who worked on the heater and also told me we will just call it even, and he didn't take my call or return my call. I don't have a problem paying my bill. As I said, I've already paid over $2000. But I do expect the courtesy of a call back so my question(s) can be answered and I wish the Sal would do his managerial job and stop hiding behind the receptionist who can't really answer my questions.

My newly installed heater started turning on and off. I contacted Harris Heating and Plumbing late friday night around 8pm. The technician, Dalton Storms, arrived early the next day which was Saturday. Dalton introduced himself and immediately put on some plastic boot covers. I told him what the problem was. And he immediately started to check the inside parts of the heater. Dalton was very respectful. He also explained every part that he was checking. After checking several parts he found what the problem was. He told me that the part will be ordered and installed when it arrived. I also had Dalton check my humidifier. Which I had no idea that it wasn't working properly. Once again he explained in detail everything that he was checking. He found the problem and also had to order another part. He replaced everything back the way it was and cleaned up after himself. I would have gave him 10 stars but it only allows me to give him the highest 5 stars. To the owner of Harris heating and Plumbing. I usually do not leave a review. But I had to today. You have a great employee in Dalton Storms.

Straight up garbage company. Their prices are way overpriced for minor work. Their electricians and plumbers seem very uneducated/lazy. I got a quote for $2200 for replacing 6 valves underneath my sink to sell a house. Plumber stated he wasn’t even going to swear the valves on and just use compression fittings. I ended up doing it myself for the same compression fittings for under $100 worth of material in less than an hour. So they’re charging about $2100 an hour which is insane. Then the electrician gave me a quote for $1000 for replacing an outlet for a GFCI, removing dual tapped neutrals on the breaker, replacing out of spec breakers in the panel, and burying outlet cable in the wall in a finished basement. $1000 is still high but I accepted that since it wasn’t completely unreasonable. Electrician was there for 2 hours but knocked out all of my basement lighting after he left. He ended up coming back that night to try troubleshoot and couldn’t figure it out. I ended up fixing the problem on my own the next day (I am an electrical engineer by trade) but I asked if he could come inspect it to say the work was complete. Electrician wanted to charge me more to come back for a troubleshooting fee even though I did his work for him and better, at that. They should have refunded me some of the payment, honestly. I will never even consider this company ever again. They’re way overpriced and did lousy work. This is why I encourage everyone to get multiple quotes or just DIY as long as you are not going against local ordinances, I don’t want to encourage anyone break local laws.

We discovered water leaking under our kitchen sink. Our regular plumber was unavailable for several days. So we called Harris Plumbing. Anthony the Harris Plumber arrived in less than an hour. He identified leaks from the outflow pipe and trap and the hot and cold water valves. Given that the current installation was 20 years old, this situation can be attributed to normal wear and tear. Anthony carried all the replacement parts in his truck which was great allowing the repair to be completed in a single visit. He got on with the repair efficiently and was able to remedy the leaks and replace parts in a couple of hours. So I was very happy with this aspect of the work and the job that Anthony did neatly and cleanly. On the other side Harris has a two tier pricing system. One price for members of its annual plan and a higher price for non members. By signing up and paying for the plan, I was able to achieve a significant savings over what I would have paid as a non member for this job. That said I would have preferred a one price for all approach and no plan commitment. Harris argues that as a member you receive priority and they will waive future minimum call out charges. So this is really a subjective choice that some will like but as I have a long established relationship with a different plumber, this is not appealing to me. Harris pricing seems a little higher than what I would have paid my regular plumber for this work and what an AI generated response suggested would be more typical for this type of job. However, given the emergency nature of this situation, I was ready to pay what I perceived to be a higher price for this work. Finally, there appears to be a Harris policy that its plumbers are expected to lightly explore upselling opportunities, for example, like whether our rather venerable water heater needed replacing. It is still performing well so I declined and this inquiry was quickly dropped. In conclusion, great job by Anthony who arrived in a timely manner and who completed the job quickly, neatly and efficiently. However, one star removed due to Harris corporate policies of upselling, its two tier pricing plan and a perception of somewhat higher pricing, than other firms, in general. Admittedly some of this criticism is subjective but then that is the nature of these reviews..
