- IGIsabella Guhl-ErdieAug 28, 20251.0Absolutely horrible experience on 8/28/25. I woke up to INTENSE banging on my front door at 7am: The paving company was doing work and needed me to move my car. I was terrified because the banging was so hard! I thought it was the police and it was traumatizing. The man who was banging said his name was Bob Green, and everyone else refused to give me their names. Instead, they said I should contact Elaine Barrett but I wanted others to know this company is not professional.
- APAmanda PhelanJun 23, 20251.0Spoke to the owner about one of their trucks driving on 295, without a cover, big rock flew out and damaged my windshield with my kids in the car. First, he lied and told me no trucks were in the area, then he tried to blame it on another Richard Barrett paving, then he told me he verified the truck in question was empty, as you can see the black rock piled high in the photo. No honesty or accountability I wouldn't trust them to do work.
- DODonald OberJun 14, 20245.0Richard T. Barrett was contracted by Hamilton Twp to replace all the curbs and aprons on our street Englewood Blvd Hamilton. I was greatly concerned when this was announced, as I had irragation right up to and along the curbs and was very concerned it would be damaged. I made it well known to the crew of my concern, and to tell you the truth, I was probably rude at times and pushy. I was treated better than I deserved and they not only protected my irragation but they did the job very very well and always treated me with the utmost courtesy. A company can be judged on the courtesy their crew treats people with, when the boss is not around! I would trust this crew with any job after seeing how their crew treated me and the quality of work. I appologize if I was too mistrusting, your crew was great.
