Home Genius Exteriors conducted an extensive review of the house and provided an acceptable proposal. Materials were delivered on schedule and the installers arrived immediately thereafter. However, it seems that the difficulty of the installation had been underestimated and the materials as provided could not be installed. Substitute materials had to be procured before the installation could be resumed. The new style shakes matched the originally proposed profile and were able to be installed. They were, however, significantly more labor intensive. The installation team went back to work, stayed with it, and even developed some innovative details to provide a neater finish to the installation. There were unavoidable delays due to changes in materials but the finished product matched or exceeded the look of what had been originally proposed. What impressed me the most is that through all the installation problems, the company stayed with the project, minimized the delays, and provided a good-looking finished product. The installers were first class, kept a neat work area and cleaned up at the end of each day.
