Woodhaven Lumber consistently provides excellent service, my orders are always correct and arrive exactly when we need them. Their products are high quality and well cared for. While all of their employees are knowledgeable, considerate and professional Jonny C. Is one of the best at figuring out what I need and how to get it. Woodhaven also has one of the best kitchen designers around, Anthony A., stop by their Lakewood showroom to begin an incredible transformation. Thank You

Looking at rebuilding our kitchen. Rich was very helpful, took lots of time with us, showed a wide cabinet selection at various price points. Pointed out lots of things we hadn't considered. It pays to discuss design and features

2/13/20 3:30 pm I called the woodhaven point beach location because I witnessed one of their delivery drivers run a stop sign, leading onto highway 35 north, into traffic, so that a car had to quickly change lanes to avoid a collision. And it was raining. A woman named Pam answered my call and seemed to take what I said seriously, asking me for some basic info before putting her manager, John, on the phone. John got on the line and the tone in his voice instantly conveyed some level of apathy as to what Pam must’ve relayed to him about my call. I told him exactly what I witnessed and his response was,”I think that’s a yield sign there.” That’s not exactly a very reassuring way to respond to someone notifying you that someone you pay to operate a very large, very heavy vehicle, is doing so in a way that puts the public and not to mention, their business, at risk. In addition to being dismissive to me and good business sense, it’s also dismissive to factual accuracy; it IS a stop sign and NOT a yield sign. He didn’t even bother to get enough info from me to be able to know exactly which intersection I was referring. John said he would mention it to the driver but, judging by John’s condescending indifference and dismissiveness I have zero faith that it will be addressed in any sort of effective or constructive manner. In the interest of disclosure, I also drive for a living in the area and am on a tight schedule every day, working without breaks in order to satisfy that schedule and my clients, yet I am able to strictly adhere to all traffic laws. I do so because I respect my responsibility for the safety of others on the road. Someone who is paid to drive and has, I assume, a CDL, should hold themselves to a higher standard, as should company that employs them. The only purpose for my call was for someone in the company to tell the driver to be more mindful on the road as we all sometimes need reminding. However, John gave me zero reason to have confidence this would be done and in how woodhaven operates their business from the top down.

Kitchen designer Richard Gurtler, very unprofessional and angry with the customers. Managers should train their workers how to deal with their clients.
