However, I’m disappointed that I paid for a maintenance plan that is supposed to provide me with 2 new air filters at each service, and the technicians never bring them. It’s not John’s fault as this should be noted in the system already. I’ve had this problem with every technician that has come to my house for my Spring and Winter service visits. Regarding my air conditioning maintenance, I’d also like to mention that I was not scheduled for a service visit until late August. I was told by the service representative that they needed to keep slots open for emergencies, thus I didn’t get maintenance until the season was practically over. Isn’t timely maintenance designed to be preventative? On top of that, the technician told me that I needed a new capacitor for my air conditioning unit, and quoted me a price of over $500. I declined as it was the end of the season. I was able to find another company to replace it for about $150. I will not be paying for a maintenance plan with One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in the future. It was good when I first started with them back in 2018, as I purchased a new heater and air conditioner package from them for about $8k, but things have gone down hill since then. Not providing what you promised in the service contract and trying to sell me other expensive items at the end of each service visit, is not good business in my opinion.
