Calvin, the plumber was nice guy and did a good job, but the company he works for should be invested for price gouging. I understand a premium for the holiday but $1600 to snake a line..... I was ripped off...
- LSLeo SnigerJan 5, 20262.0I have a annual maintenance contract for my gas heating system in Ocean City NJ As part of that maintenance the flame rod that ignites the gas in my boiler is removed , checked, cleaned and reinstalled . This time it needed to be replaced . I received a $313.00 bill for the replacement. The flame rod cost $ 13.31 from the manufacturer. I called ACE about this crazy charge and the answer I received was the additional cost is to file the paperwork .i have been with Clay ( now ACE) since 2001 and always found them to be honest and a very good company to do business with. I guess the new owners do not value relationships and are just out to maximize their profits .Beawsre of working with them .! They are not the same company they use to be BTY the part number for my flame rod is Navien 30014189c . Google it and you will see the sell price!

Jake and Dave checked out my system and explained thoroughly what the issue could be, they even replaced my batteries on my thermostat. I will definitely call them back on any future issues.
