  "When we learned very quickly that electric work was something best left to the experts, “Shalongo & Son Electric” was our first call--and our only call. We had planned to get estimates from several electricians, but once we met Shalongo & Son Electric (Edward the owner), we stopped searching. Not only was he prompt, honest, and very courteous, he was also extremely professional. Edward was very upfront with project costs and time and had everything done well ahead of what was promised. It's rare to find his level of work ethic (and commitment to a job well done) these days. Thank you for your help, Shalongo & Son Electric TEAM!!

  Ed and his team offer excellent service, the standard is high in ensuring that the customer not only gets a top notch job, but the teams polite and professional demeanor is worth the cost alone. I highly recommend this company for commercial and residential premium electrician services.

  We used Shalongo electric for installing new recessed lights throughout our home (approx. 36) and also upgrading old switches/receptacles (approx. 40 total) to decora style. From the beginning, owner Ed was very responsive in evaluating our project. He provided many good suggestions and options for us to consider. We compared prices from couple of other vendors and found his estimate best for our needs. On the job day, his teams of 4 guys showed up and immediately started working. They thoroughly covered our carpet and floor. The team would work in one area of the house and as soon as they are done, they vacuumed and cleaned it. I was surprised to see how quickly they were able to complete sections of the house while keeping things neat and tidy. All the guys in the team are very professional and courteous. They asked us for our opinion about placement of lights and also provided some great suggestions which we did not consider earlier. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience working with Ed and his team. They always showed up on time, worked diligently and most of all left the place as clean as it was in the beginning. We are very happy with whole experience.

  I had a major electrical hazard in my house that started with my oven blowing up. I was not aware of the previous "bad" wiring done. In short, I was so anxious. I called Shalongo & Son after they were referred to me by a friend. The owner called me back in minutes. I explained the situation and had 2 electricians at my house the very next morning. They stayed the entire day to rectify the situation leaving me with much needed peace of mind. The electricians were professional, highly knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend Shalongo and Son for all electrical work. They know what they are doing!

  Had 2 jobs to do... Ed and his staff hooked up both perfectly. Had a new, outside mount AC unit needing electric hook up on an addition we built as well front bed lighting for the landscaping in the front of our house. BOTH jobs done perfectly. I've referred Ed to 2 of my neighbor who have also used him. My only choice for an electrician. Helps that he's also local here in Pompton Plains.
