    Michael Smith just finished replacing my septic system. He is the best contractor I've ever hired. He is honest, hard-working, knowledgeable, skillful and reasonably priced. How can you beat that combination? Both he and his team are a pleasure to work with (not that anyone wants a new septic system!). I really can't say enough good about him.

    Michael just completed rebuilding our entire septic field today. Unfortunately this was necessary as our builder did a lousy job 17 years ago installing our field. Michael is a total professional. He knows septic systems inside and out - been in this business for over 40 years. Michael is on-site 100% of the time. His team is excellent as well. He is very careful removing the old material and installing the new materials (and uses only high grade materials - such as triple washed stone and beach sand). He is clean and does not make a mess. Yes, your lawn area over the field will be removed, but he tries to minimize any other lawn damage to the extent possible. When he is done it looks as if he was never there - save of course for the lawn. He will plant seed when he is done too - we opted to re-sod our lawn so we skipped that last step. Job took 6 days start to finish. The only person I would use if I needed a septic repair or field replacement. Even if I did not live in his service area, I would do what I could (including paying a premium) to entice him to take the job. Best experience we've had with a contractor - and we have dealt with many of them for various projects. Thank you Michael for a job well done.
